Today we found out that a friend, who has been having several different problems, actually has an aggressive form of cancer and there's nothing that can be done. Also today, we saw in the paper that a former neighbor from my childhood died. Just one of those days that you don't dare ask, "What next?"

WOW! Cowboys vs Steelers! I used to watch in the 80's, but not now. No sport really interests me, except gymnastics, diving, and softball/baseball. LOL Oh, and maybe ice skating. Even so, I don't really watch them much.

The semester begins in two weeks, my costs are covered and my tools are due for a cleaning. I will look into when the first online class is held, to avoid missing the lecture. Whereas my first shop is the following Saturday.

For now my issue is opening my car's back door, which seems to be stuck again.

The weekend isn't loaded with activities, this Sunday though I'm taking my bass with my friend to change it's pickups. We may also seek the artist whom I commissioned art. I've not seen any hint of progress, so I'm inclined to ask for my Zero figure.

[Edit]Mine doing what I had mentioned earlier. A urgent repair for a person in need. Seems the owner of the Mercedes needs to replace the water pump. We're running the clock today, she needs to go to work to offset the cost of the new part. As long as it can be filled with at least water, it can run a day or two that way. Just a few small details before I can begin.

Oh boy! Several hours later, the old water pump is out. But not without it's consequences, three bolts broke. The owner is determined to get it running, but I warned her to the idea that it will leak. I caught earshot of the possibility of a replacement, but not before she can make arrangements for a transition.

I'm tired, dirty, and itchy from sweat dirt oil and coolant. Just a taste of any future work, some poorly kept vehicles that owners are reluctant to let go.

I still think that dragon's face is just the sweetest thing. ❤

whooooaaa i am most impressed by your amazing work !! the blankets i am making now(1 done like this) will be 3D..i name them all and the first one is SURF multi layers of blues with thick super soft white edges. These are for certain people so my current one will be erath tones and large circular ""crocheted appliques" on it. This friend of Annas loves tapestries and hangs them all over..the patterns repeat themselves with ornate circles ..kinda like hippy dippy days like in the 60s??

i am reading yur car posts here and there and what you are doing. Is this something you are learing by yourself or in a class..either way you go girl or guy? Another of girls friends takes car classes and does them all on her cars..yes she has about five cars she is working on that she bought to rebuid..would be totally overwhelming for me to even do one!!

I began in 2006, when my now friend approached me with a proposition to dismantle an '88 Fiero. Which was used as a base for a replica 2000 Lamborghini Diablo Roadster. After that it was years of weekends doing maintenance for his family's cars, as well as other friends and an occasional outside job.

I have also chosen to pursue a career in automotive. I returned to college to learn the trade in 2020. I'm in the shallow end atm.

I'm a Vioran Soldier, so it makes me biologically male. I have come across a few ladies just as enthusiastic about the skillset.

I take a single course per semester, because I can only afford to pay for one. It took me three months the last two years to save enough for that. Taking more than one is impractical, unless I could take on work study to have another source of income.

That one song, is unfortunately not available to buy or download. It would go well with my offline selections. The two that matter most are C.J. by Los Fabulosos Cadillacs , and S.O.S. by Alianza They're in Spanish mind you. I'm no longer reluctant to share this, she'll never hear them... So do you speak spanish? I know only Hospital Spanish..enough to get by with patient care and teaching. most extensive teachings were done with a translation phone! I have German as my first language but i grew up here and actually now english is my tongue but i can speak and write in German. To all my relatives ya know? :)

Call me old fashioned, the first suggests something well into the golden years, the other immense gratitude. An awfully tall order, something modern women just don't amount to anymore. They're unworthy.

I'm a native speaker, learning English and Spanish concurrently. I would do well to read up on automotive terms, some words aren't obvious.
