I am merely here to suggest stickers of the NPCs (any gender) in pin-up poses would literally die (in the spirit of the holiday) for those to be wearable backgrunds, but stickers would be cool too and also more sexy kinky stuff, surprised to not find more in the shops

I would love to see more wearable dolls we can hold based on various strains (like Rash Zombie Doll). I would also love to get more animal minons infected with the past various strains(like Budgon and Baker's Blob Kitty).

I liked seeing the evolution of the strains every year. Like someone on page 2 said, we could use the term transformation instead of infection/strain evolution. Subeta showed signs of adapting and evolving- it moved away from RL events as much as possible and somehow transformed the regular events into something specific to this (subeta) world. Even the name of this event changed from Pandemic to Survival. I'm sure we can come together to find new ways of continuing this event in a way that is still familiar but doesn't offend (too much) those who are affected by the RL crisis. i think renaming what happens the most to our HAs is one of the ways to pacify everyone.

We'll have to find some other word for "infection" or strain too. but my vocabulary and time right now are limited.

Last year's strains were some of the best we've had. I don't think we've ever moved staff to make wearables based off the stages of them.

I'm personally fine with the more medical terms. As long as it takes being bitten to be infected then that's just what it is. Subeta's pandemic has been around long before the Covid pandemic so I don't see any reason to change it just to avoid association.

L'Amour Shop:

-Bow/Heart/Rose rings, anklets, bracelets -Stuffed Bear companions (or pet variations like chai, anyu, etc) -Flowy dresses with sheer materials -Coffee flavored chocolates!

Zombie Den:

-Skull charms for hair, wrists, neck, ankle -Blood trails, splatters, etc -More tombstones and grave markers

I completely agree - i don't see anything wrong with the current terminology, and i don't find it offensive. However, i also wouldn't be bothered if they did decide to change some of the words used, as we all know how some users get triggered easily by (or upset because of) certain things. I also kind of saw staff trying to please all users, regardless of how extreme some of the opinions were.

L'Amour Parlour

We have nightdresses and matching sheer robes. We could do with some bedroom backdrops they'd go with.

Also, slippers to match the nighties and robes.

I also wish we could get funny valentines and funny valentine based items in both shops. We could use a few laughs given the situation.

i like the bedroom idea. i would like to also suggest some wearable people in the L'Amour Shop for our HAs to spend the holiday with. ^_^

Agree with the idea of slippers! Like teddy bear slippers in diff colours would be adorable. Backdrop/foreground style items with those pastel candy hearts that say "ILU" "Be Mine" etc. would be nice too.

With the current, uh, situation, I could really go for some infection sequences that are super light-hearted and campy like B-movie transformations. For example, a werewolf virus that turns your HA into a canine-like zombie, or a killer clown virus. Or, some really futuristic ones. I loved the robot virus the most of all, and I loved how gross and scary each individual scene of it was.

For L'amour items... Items referencing famous love stories in media franchises in a cute way, romantic things people are doing at home with their partners, or referencing romantic traditions from around the world subeta-ized.

For L'Amour Shop: Could we get a box of assorted V-Day cards? You know like the kind they made us send when we were in elementary. Make them readable or not it’s just the nostalgia for me.

You could even have options like superhero, rainbow, zombie and or subeta pets theme. Release new theme/s every year.

What about new candy hearts when we kiss?

Survival's one of my favourite events on here, I'd hate to see it go... I get where the concern is coming from, and if Survival was a newer event I'd agree, but IMO it's well-established enough... maybe just have more of a focus on the Valentines side of it all rather than zombies/infection/etc?

I just wanted to put my two cents in here, While I understand that our current real world situation is hard for a lot of folks, I enjoy the holidays here and prefer to focus on the survival aspect of the event rather than the other parts as that is what the focus is intended to be on anyways. I could see yeeting the holiday if we were literally just getting the event as a new thing and then the pandemic happened but that is simply not the case. We survived something pretty bad and we are here with one another to celebrate a tradition and I for one am thankful for that.

With that said, I would love to see some candy hearts that the HA can hold, More held things in general for the HA. Body mod sweaters or shirts with the HA holding things related to survival. Wearable rose petal items or roses, New hairbands for the HA. Wearable plants and flowers and cute stuff :D

i would be pretty surprised if the event was simply cancelled. unless there isn't the man power to work on it, obviously. but i don't think it should be cancelled because of the coincidental relevance to reality. there's been enough referencing already with the new face mask items. it's not like there's going to be a covid zombie. (still will never understand how or why that heart burn strain was okayed. no i will never shut up about it)

it would be nice if there were new strains that were simpler, maybe? easier to create and work with in the wardrobe perhaps. but the full body ones are impressive... i like the strains that aren't really disease based, like the insect and plant ones. and of course the cute ones! though i think the cryomorph one is kinda perfect; i would love more cryptid monster type ones.

as for items:

i was actually coming here to say this, haha. so, agreed! and like those little packets of candy you would give out! and/or cute little hand-crafted ones for family members or something. and also new candy hearts would be cute. and the different kind of love items too. i remember being a kid and your mom was your valentine. :')

i don't really see the point in making items referencing staying at home, etc. i don't see how those would add anything valentines related that couldn't be done without mentioning it. it's not that i'd be offended by it per se, but i just feel like... i get it. it's been a year now i don't think it needs to be "referenced" anymore. it's sort of similar to me as all those god forsaken commercials and advertisements saying we're all in this together in these trying times now more than ever blah blah like just stop. we know.
