The Oceans Depth vending machine. It's the one on Omen Islands. I did a full vend (500 times) and only got 2 pirate items and both were old/cheap. Likely my bad luck. Others in the comments did better.

I got 5 items from Carl's quests yesterday out of 15 quests. One was a new item.

yeah I tried oceans depth, no luck for me at all and I did get 2 old items from Carl.
However, we can say that we tried :)

It rained here this evening. Still raining a little. It's been about 3 weeks since it rained so even though it was gray all day I didn't mind. The rain was so nice. After this rain the temps will be about 15 degrees below normal. Sweatshirt weather for the forseeable future.

So...I wasn't aware of today's significance until I saw the cake icon on my status feed....oof.

Going to see if there are any Freylaise items I need/want since the holiday is ending soon.....

Not sweatshirt weather here yet, but it has been so nice in the 80's during the day! Loving it. No 90's and esp no 100's. Wow... Just hoping it stays the course and just gets cooler and we have a real fall. That would be amazing! :)

We are getting cooler here, but not really sweater weather yet. Been doing inktober and some of prompts are more difficult than they seem. Bulky...what?

No Trick or Treating here either, but that's not new. No one has done that in my neighborhood for at least a decade, probably more. We used to really deck out the yard and patio but it was so depressing when we didn't see anyone that we stopped doing it years ago. I think most people take heir kids to church or school or the malls. Its much safer and there are usually lots of things to do and they get tons of candy.

Excited about Morostide and new stuff. :)

I've never been trick-or-treating myself..... But I think that tradition may be fading away in other places in the country too....for the reasons you stated above.

Heck, I watched a Youtube video that stated that trick-or-treating wasn't a thing in the UK!

Our town is having toting. Sigh. Didn't think they would until Columbus said they were then I figure most of the surrounding cities/towns would join in. We will not be participating this year. We live on a street of 3 cul-de-sacs and while we have more little kids than in recent past years, I just don't want to risk exposure. Was reading on our town;s website that they still want you to keep 6 feet distance from people not in the same household. Um, isn't that the point of toting?

I'm ready for moro. Got several HAs made. My extras will also be in my extras shop until a week or so after the event is over. :)

You never went Trick or Treating even as a kid? Oh I did. But when I was 12 I was also 5'9" and no one believed I wasn't a teenager so wouldn't give me much candy. I started wearing knee pads and a ghost sheet. So that when I went to the door I got on my knees and the sheet covered me. Then I got lots of candy. lol
