Actually it's the KS discord in the tv-watching channel

Brinny and I are the only ones who really use it. We watch The Masked Singer, The Masked Dancer and then RuPaul's Drag Race when they are on. Although tonight xRaerasx also watched some with us.

I don't know what discord is.

I'm not into any current tv really. Except I'm going to watch the remake of Walker Texas Ranger.

I think we're going to have to switch from cable to full on streaming but trying to figure out how to get all the channels we really want to have and how much it's going to cost plus the extra streaming apps (like we have Britbox right now) is a lot of work and it feels like it's going to cost more than cable in the long run.

We have cable, Brit box, Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, CBS, Hulu, HBO max, and Apple tv, but that is with two people who are mostly home all the time and spend their extra funds on entertainment only.

Loki is beautiful. A few years ago I did have 2 bunnies at different times. Love them. That's some viewing lineup, love the possibilities. Very sharp looking to be sure.

I am going to continue Walker at least for a while soley because of my Jared problem.

Cute bunny! I've always wanted one. Two of my cats are fierce preditors so I doubt that could ever happen.

not yet, it's coming up though. :) I felt like getting it together early.

Took mom this morning for her first vaccine shot. :) Good day. Now I just wish I could get one sooner than spring.

Congrats to you both on taking your mom for her first vaccine shot of two. May I ask which vaccine she received and did they schedule her for her second shot?

She got the Pfizer and yeah they required a sign up for her 2nd shot. She had no reaction to the first shot. I expect some from what i've read after the 2nd.

Have heard that too. Packs a wallop was the phrase.

My friend David said they told him the injection site would hurt later that evening. He said it was very painful and lasted several days. He said they also watched him like a hawk for any signs of reaction for 15 - 20 minutes. So they must have had some for a few people before. Luckily he didn't have any side effects.

Been wondering if here some service would notify different senior groups when they should make an appointment for the first vaccine shot. The Medicare program could have done it easily as they already have our social security numbers and date of birth. But the states are doing it and Governor Baker is doing his best but there are still hitches. This has been on my mind for awhile and I just got an email from MGH stating "We will notify you directly when you are eligible for the vaccine based on the state's guidelines. Please read the latest information below so you know what to expect." Perfect, that is the kind of system we need.

Yeah, we had to wait 15 minutes after mom got her shot before we could leave. It's the reason I really would prefer to get the shot in a medical setting rather than a grocery store pharmacy or something. Just to be safe.

Our health care group, through our GP and with the local hospital network, notified mom and I made the appointment through her online account. It was pretty simple.

Here they are pausing vaccines at age 65. I am not sure when I will be able to get one with the pause. :(

That is similar to how MGH does it. This is much better than me fumbling around on a website that isn't as user friendly as hoped for. My online account will be the way I'm notified, just glad to know finally. Must admit I would rather get the Moderna if I have a choice. Edit Anyone else have joint pain in the knees from low barometric pressure?

Morning grumble.

Got probably 6 inches of snow. We live at the top of a hill on a cul de sac. Not supposed to park in the street when there is going to be accumulating snow. So two neighbours have 2 cars each in the street. Plow couldn't get close to our curb so if it doesn't rain then we will have to shovel a couple feet into the street to clear it so we can get out of the driveway. Sigh. People just don't think (or care).
