- I'm sorry for both of your losses <3 big virtual hug
That Thanksgiving offering sounds delicious, and a great way for remembrance. Maybe I should look into it as well, I'll probably be too tired to cook anything good honestly ;__;
I adore them! Thank you. Saved.
That's a beautiful way to spend your Thanksgiving remembering them. ❤
“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.” - Benjamin Franklin
"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
and we had Thanksgiving last night with and her family. Dmy is my real life sister and her two step kids have their bio mom for Thanksgiving break this year. For actual Thanksgiving my mom and I are talking about Marie Calendars frozen chicken pot pies or ordering pizza.
Dmy and her family are in our quarantine bubble as we babysit her one year old anyway and there is no way to not get hugged and slobbered on.
Could you draw my HA please? With the colored pencils?
That sounds like a lovely idea and a nice way to share Thanksgiving.
All the food sounds awesome. We are not having turkey this year for the first time in my memory. My son (who lives with my parents) is not going to be here, and he does a lot of the cutting up and lifting in and out of the oven. We are having Christmas ham instead with some of the easy fixings we usually have at both Thanksgiving and Christmas. I offered to come over and spend the night and try to do the major portion of the cooking, though it's really hard for me too, but Mom said no. It would still be such a headache for her and she just doesn't feel up to it. I don't mind. We still get to eat a wonderful meal with leftovers and spend time together and that's what is important. :)
Thank you, am sure it will be both. And love for you and extended family. Haven't seen your sister here for awhile, I know as a sub teacher she must still be very busy.
Check out the restaurants or grocery stores near you to see what Thanksgiving offerings they have, I hope you find something you like as it will be great to have yummy healthy food without all the effort. Whatever you decide big huggles and have a lovely, safe holiday.
They were family in spirit, so is fitting and lightens my spirits in turn.
Exactly, that's just what it's all about plus being damn thankful. Please enjoy and stay safe, my friend.
EDIT: just now on the news they were saying only safe travel states are Hawaii and Vermont. Let's all go to Hawaii for the holiday!
Just found out a friend of mine is leaving Subeta. I'm pretty sad....
I heard that Christmas in the UK might be vastly different too due to COVID.

Well it is a global pandemic, so I'm sure you're right. The news is not good for anywhere that I know of.
I've had a sinus infection for around a week now. I am having to really focus on relaxing when my body tells me to. I tend to have to constantly be working on something.
Yeah, I have some antibiotics :)
Can't wait until I'm both better and off of them XD
Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well!
🦋 Happy Holidays! 🦋
Taking a moment to wish all a very Happy Thanksgiving, in these difficult times it is pretty clear for each and every one to be grateful for the things and people we do have and love.
Thank you and happy Thanksgiving. I am thank ful for all of you.
hope you feel better quickly.
people go in and out of here so often. Sorry your pal is leaving.
I seem to have a cold. Might have to reschedule my platelet giving tomorrow. Not covid, wrong symptoms. My streak of being sick on Thanksgiving continues.
She actually traded Pokemon with me once. So it's even more sad than usual....
Sorry that you're sick.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry to see that you are sick, glad it's not Covid again. Please take extra good care of you, your immune system might be low and receptive to things you'd rather not have.
