I also did that when I started subeta! Blew a bunch of sp on a saggi quest item I should not have spent that much on TT^TT and I have held a bit of a grudge against him ever since. lol I love that story. It is unfortunate how many stories I’ve read here about people losing touch with internet friends, but it’s a marvel in the first place to have had a connection like that with anyone, and through the internet no less. I’m glad you had such a wonderful friend then, and hope you will find many more wonderful friends in your time on subeta, however long you choose to be active.

I’ve found it helps to join groups that help you pursue your hobbies, maybe that’s a way to go? And kinda how you met your friends though subeta! I’m glad you have a way to keep in touch with them through the site. And think of friends moving this way—now you have friends in different states, and an excuse to travel! That made graduating college a lot better for me—now I have friends all over the world to visit (and crash with instead of paying for hotels~)
