As I've probably told you, I don't celebrate Christmas so I have no actual traditions for it. Everything's closed almost, and one thing I often did was go to see a movie, because movie theaters were usually open. But this year I think I'll just make a nice brunch for my family and then spend the day reading.

Merry Christmas! We don't usually do much-- we open gifts from each other on the 24th and let the girls open theirs and then we have dinner and facetime with family tomorrow :) Nothing really big has changed, although we're doing a "zoom" call this evening with some more of my husband's family tonight (including some I've never met), so I suppose that's changed a little bit!
I've heard stories about the great tree debacle from some years ago, but I thankfully wasn't around to deal with it yet! I just usually send mine out early because I'd rather be able to leave a note (I hate that you can't write a note to leave with your gifts under trees!) and I want to make sure nothing crazy happens.

I spent most of my day yesterday cooking and baking fresh breads for today. My mother, brother, and I going to enjoy a nice homemade meal! I haven't seen my brother in two years, so I'm very excited!

Thank you so much also for your gifts, I haven't opened them so far because beginning with yesterday afternoon, I am suddenly running a high fever with 40°/104F and chills and my BP is at rock bottom and I have to balance to even sit on a chair - going back to bed soon. No other symptoms so far, though..... My Corona test is negativ, made one this morning, so all good and only a nasty infection, I think.
Judging today will be delayed for all contests and perhaps postponed until tomorrow, I am going to give me an intravenous infusion and inject some remedies now and I hope it is better soon.
Stay safe and bear with me, I am posting the new contests nevertheless because I have them prepared already yet putting a placeholder for now for the prizes.
