WE got a girl named Autumn, I am so excited I cant take it. He was able to be with her, some how and now he doesnt want to leave his wife and daughter. So I guess his sleeping in a chair.

I think Autumn is such a beautiful name. Best wishes for everyone. My husband called his grandmothers "mormor". Mine got differentiated. My father's mom was a country girl and she preferred "granny". My mothers mom was more formal and preferred "grandma", though she would tolerate "grams". I have no children myself, but my brother in law's youngsters all call me "tinte" (Norwegian for auntie)

Thanks so much! I called, both my grandmothers by grandma, Just added first initial from last name. grandma P and grandma G, and same with grandfathers. I think tinte is cute.

in german it is Tante for aunt my hubbys family called their grandmom MomMom and PopPop for grandpop. In german it is just Oma.

My older son used too call Our landlord and his wife in Germany, he used the german words and not english. They thought it was cute.
