It's interesting. Makes it harder to find old pets I gave away but that's not too much of an issue.

My Darlings... thank you for your prayers and well-wishes. I’ve been hit with a double whammy of pain and woe involving both the renal system and the digestive system. The symptoms overlap and much of the cure involves time and analgesics. Opiates are off the list for pain control as then can severely aggravate the symptoms. So, no poppy-straw tea for little weasel-girls. I’ve asked Welly to knock me out with his cricket bat, but he has declined saying, “Not today.” Suffice to say that, whilst the pain level is on par with the agony of hard labor, and that it is constant, I should feel better within 14 to 30 days.

get well soon and give yourself time to regain your strength, all thumbs are pressed, you know; in the end everything will be fine...

Hi. This is another "I'm alive" check-in. Things have been rough lately and chronic fatigue has had me in a strangle hold most days. Spending a lot of time at my best friend's house and my sister has taken to visiting at least once a week to hang out and use my sewing machine. She's trying to get enough masks and such together before school starts so that her husband is ready to go back to work. As a special education teacher for children with "profound" developmental disabilities, he's one of the few in our state who is unable to teach remotely, which is extremely stressful for many reasons, not the least of which being that my sister, like myself, is still considered "at risk."

Anyway, I'm extremely tired today and thinking I might go sew something other than a mask for once just to keep myself from giving in and spending another day almost entirely in bed. Going to attach a couple of pictures, though, for your enjoyment. They're of my Duo (the corgi) and my best friend's pup Zelda (a not quite fully grown great pyrenees). Both are rescues and are training to be support dogs and, if eventually necessary, full service dogs.

maybe get yourself a super comfy set up outside with thick n=blankets n such..the outdoor air the birds and faroff sounds of life may help a bit and it would be just like being in bed..just sitting up cuddled up. Is your sisters hubby going one on one or whole class at a time? Are they aware enough to wear masks themselves???the kids??

I am considered high risk due to health issues so I make sure I go out on back deck for a bit now an than so I get fresh air or hubby takes me for a ride in van for new scenery lol
