Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends!!! well china has some holidays america doesnt have, but these are the big holidays: -Chinese New Year (Feb): eat dumplings, put on red decorations, do fireworks, watch the CNY performance -Mid autumn festival (Sept): eat mooncakes and do moon watching -Dragon Boat Festival (early June): eat zongzi/rice dumplings -Chinese National Day (Oct 1st): we gain independence, this day and on CNY are where the roads and transportation are the most congested bc ppl are on holiday for a weekish so theyre going home and visit their family and have big feasts together.

Likewise, we dont have Thanksgiving there and Christmas isnt big there

I would love to be in China during all the holidays and experience them. I have celebrated New Year in Karnak, Egypt and New year's in Paris, France.

I need the angelic potion, I I will have to buy/trade it or enter the potion lottery and hope for the best. That would be nice to learn how to do dumplings. When I was doing occupational therapy for my hand, one of the therapists was from China. He could move one hand like a bird flying, it was amazing to see.

i hope you had fun with perhaps some of your boys with you? We al;l played UNO after dinner and laughed soooo much..i truly neededthat laughter..i feel FULL now like gas in a car..like clouds full of rain..like cows in a deep lush green pasture(lucky ones)...like a kangaroo pouch with twins!!

Laughter is the best medicine...for us all it has been a rough year..discovery was hard..now we almost KNOW what we need to do at least so next year will seem..i dunno actually!

My 2 sons that lived out of town called, and so did hubby. I made way more food than my middle son and I can eat. So left overs it is, I am not complaining a bit, no cooking for a few day. I love UNO, we made up some extra rules that make it more fun than it already is. So think up some fun rules, and incorporate them.
