So, uh, hi. I'm just always posting "I'm alive" messages around here, it seems. Things have just been really rough. Moving house isn't the easiest task when you're physically disabled, y'know? Plus my mom just had surgery on her throat and my best friend had a health scare at the end of August which we've only just gotten back under control these last few days. To make matters worse, her husband had to go out of town for work so I was left taking care of the house, the dogs, the cats, and the bestie all by myself for most of last week. Turns out her issue was a combination of not taking medication properly and letting her diet get under control so now I've taken on the responsibility of handling grocery shopping because I'm the most knowledgeable when it comes to food safety and dietary needs.

Anyway, I probably won't be around much until Morostide. Still working to get offline stuff sorted but I can't miss my favorite holiday! Now I'm off to figure out what I'm going to try to get done today.
