:'( Prayers for my family. My parents have a cat that is inside/ outside. He hasn't been seen since Thursday and we're really worried as he would come around multiple times a day. (Wet food is good.) He's more my dad's cat than anyone else's. My dad started out saying 'it's not my cat' as he fed and watered him, gave him a heated bed on the front and back porch, and let him sleep at his feet at night. Only recently, after a couple years, has he finally started saying 'my cat' and 'my fur child'. He doesn't usually soften up this much to pets because they always 'belong' to others in the family. But this one's different. We really miss George, and we're Definitely chipping him when he's found. Prayers that's going to be soon. <3

I hope George is found, if I were you I would put up posters, and list him on locate website for lost pets. AWW your Dad and his pal. My Dad wasnt cat friendly, his later years he had 5 cats. He would sleep in his lounger, and pet cats in his sleep if they were on his lap or not. I teased him about his invisible cat. He would be sleeping, and his hand would move perfectly as if he was petting one of the cats from their neck to tail on their spine. It was cool to watch.

So sorry to hear about your cat. I hope he's safe and returns to you. I lost a dog to the streets once and it broke my heart.

I hadn't thought of that. I'll go look for one. I'm going to be honest here. If Chance doesn't start getting on and off the couch by himself I'm not going to be able to keep him. He's just a tad too heavy for me to keep lifting.

You just been quite, and I know you had some health concerns like I worry about you both. I know I know guys are strong silent types, lol.

AWWW pirate with a cute dog. Maybe give him small treats for him to use a small stair or a ramp. My younger son has one for his couch for his 2 weinie dogs, its a perfect solution. Especially if Chance isnt a fan of stairs, so I think ramp would be a solution.

Put a trail of treats on the ramp, before chance realizes the ramp isnt a big deal. This helped my son train his 2 dogs a lot.

Thanks! His cats sure made him happy,. But one of them step on his life alert and emergency crew came out. Dad had a good laugh about it, said it was karma. Because he always played jokes on people.

Oh, the height isn't the problem. Chance has very long legs and can get up on my bed quite easily. I think the problem may be that he was crate trained.

Have patience and try the ramp or treats, he just needs some encouragement with treats. Just maybe he wasnt allowed on the couch, and he has to learn your okay with it. I love funny pet story, or playing jokes on someone.

Well I hope things are improving for you! We just finished today painting the interior of our house, we have been at since the 27th of July. Plus hubby replace electric outlets and switches in all the house. I have been sorting everything in each room, throwing out junk, donating. Its been like therapy clear up clutter, and seeing our home improve its appearance. Plus I shampooed every room taking advantage of everything being taken out of each room. I even shampooed our chevy tahoe carpets and furniture, I need to do our chevy impala next. Just keeping busy and we benefit as our home did. At the same, I havent got to enjoy being a new grandma and holding my grand daughter Autumn. Dr says 3 months until she can be around people. Video chat has helped but not the same. pandemic sucks, I want to chat face to face with someone with out worrying it can maybe make me sick. I want to go chat with friends and neighbors. I am sure others have it way worse than I, so I try to keep that in mind be grateful and try not to whine to much.

: Yes! I completed "Buckets of Rain" by Bob Dylan (Weldon sings the vocals) and I finished recording all the instrumentals of "I Am A Heart" by Hey Ocean! (I will sing the melody and the backup girls from Sparky and the Wheezles will lay down the chorus vocals) I'm currently laying down the bass and keyboard parts for "Visa fran Utanmyra" made popular by Jan Johannson, but my arrangement is more like the arrangement done by Wintergaten and it will be an instrumental, but I will be playing my trumpet for the solo and melody part. Yeah...my music taste are very eclectic.
