Bc this site is running on legacy code being shunted to modern web host to modern web host and things break. Staff wants it to be fast too. They're not doing it to spite us.
Thank you for posting the log, Keith. It's nice to have a view into what's being worked on. I appreciate all of the staff working hard here!

Thank you for the update. The site does seem to be doing better today in terms of lag/errors....hopefully it stays that way.

Are there still cache issues? Check, one two one two...
EDIT : Forum posts appear immediately now. It takes time for edits to show up but the fixes seem promising! Many thanks for your hard work, it's starting to pay off!

Day four of being unable to open a ticket I would really like to know the answer to, as it pertains to the event. I'm also wary of putting money into the site because I don't want that vanishing.

The news on the main page of Subeta is sice the 9th April not up to date.
502 are just as bad as well

Site still moving at the speed of snail.
Thank you for the change log link, Keith, this is cool. Unknown Worlds keeps one for Subnautica and S/Below Zero, letting us follow the creation and building of the game, and I really like being able to follow a project in this way. I don't have the knowledge of coding I wish I had but this looks very interesting: Some behind the scenes, something really clever about our setup now, is I can create a new branch (like keith-testing-proxy) and deploy it, with a URL, almost immediately to test what it would run like on production. Each version also gets its own cache, so we don't run into any weird caching issues. This is going to make our testing significantly more robust I feel like that means there's a separate sandbox kind of place for tests and possibly stress tests? Can you model stress tests or does that just not work? I don't know but the idea of there being a kind of quarantine zone for some brutal testing before a new feature is deployed is exciting. There's a good chance I have completely misunderstood it though.
why is this site still laggy?

Just pushed out some major changes to our infrastructure, which, should make the site usable again.
More technical updates here with a backlog of the changes as they happened as well

Thank you for the update and thank you and the Subeta team for all your hard work!! Happy Easter!
I am not old. I am gracefully aged
Keith! Thank you so much!!

I'm not trying to be rude, truly I'm not, but I have just refreshed my page no less than 10 times to read that message due to constant 502 and 504 errors. Getting things done on this site is like pulling teeth. I love this place, I really do, but right now I don't want to visit right now because I just get so frustrated when it's like this... and it's like this more often than not atm. :(
