Apologising "on behalf of" people you don't have authority or responsibility for is a boundary violation.
Angry users are not your employees, who represent your business and are supposed to follow your rules, or your overstressed children throwing tantrums because they're stuck in an adult environment too long.
When you apologise "on behalf of" an unrelated adult, you're strongly implying that they're not competent to be responsible for their own behaviour or they don't have the right to speak for themselves. No matter how politely you word it, you're insulting that person.

I just got another wave of items restored to my wardrobe sometime this evening, this time some of the more expensive things. So just confirming they are still working through the reports and whatever information they have on their end. Just keep in mind there are so many items and so many users affected, I imagine it takes a while for stuff to roll out.
I'm only missing 3 items now, although two of them I have no idea what they are. I wasn't able to match them from any of the reports made by others so far.
Still waiting to see my items returned to me. Glad some users got theirs back tho!

Honestly a lot of the information on all of this has been really confusing so I appreciate a straightforward answer.
From what I can gather, some items disappeared from all wardrobes; I don't know if it's all of the glitchy items that are doing it, but the ones people reported that i was sure i had seemed to disappear from my wardrobe as well...

Hey, so, I don't know if this is wanted or needed but I've read this whole thread. All 27 pages of it. And I've noticed people asking for TLDR of stuff or a more condensed FAQ style listing of info and updates. I'm also seeing info get lost/overlooked in the shuffle and questions getting reasked (which is fair, 27 pages is a LOT lol), so I thought I'd try to help out and tossed together a list of info and answers to common questions, with sources:

Would appreciate another update as it's been a week, and the only items that have been restored to my wardrobe are extremely cheap. I haven't had the chance to check extensively for CW's/more expensive missing items, and the items I reported missing haven't been returned. Does staff have an estimate of how long/if we can expect our items to be returned to us? When can we expect to know your rates?
It's been a while now and I still have no idea what is missing from my wardrobe... not even going to what "might be" missing, not with everything that's going on here right now.
Hope something, somewhere, somehow... gets fixed soon.

This topic has quite a few pages, and I must admit that I read none of them. So maybe it has already been suggested before, but could we make use of Subetalodge's database to aid with this issue? I didn't mark all items I own in the wardrobe list of Subetalodge, but I'm pretty sure that I only marked items which I indeed owned before this glitch happened. Is there an easy way to compare the Subetalodge list with the Subeta list, and identify possible problem cases like that?
