How do you guys choose the pets that you train?

For me it's budget. I originally choose to raise a few of my oldest pets until auto-training wasn't viable anymore and stick with that. But I realized that I earn more than enough sp daily to raise my other pets when they were taken off auto and it lead to raising everyone, lol.

By name lol if I love their name and want them to be strong.... They get trained.

Not really though. I want to have at least one pet in every tier, so 11 of my 40 pets that have reached their designated tier are no longer being trained. But the rest are trained indefinitely.

As far as which pets I choose to focus on at any given time for BQs and boosters, it depends on a lot of things. My main battler was one of my first pets and my favorite name at the time. My second battler is my first pet. My number 3, Eyjafjallajokull, is named after a volcano, so was an obvious choice for a battler. I haven’t decided who’ll be number 4.
