Yeah, I want to do a name swap too for a T8 pet, but also the csc is kind of making me cagey about it.

I have csc. It’s just I’m not sure about spending it on name swaps right now. It might also make me want to zap the pet too, but getting an angel neela from the pound at T5 was such a find even if the name was awful.

hey battle peeps. I am finally getting back into battling after almost a year of not doing much (just buying up the cs challengers and unlocking the monthly challengers, and battling the event opponents too). I am also in the process of getting 10+ wins on the opponents I haven't done yet after the last reset. So I am stuck on one guy at the moment need some set advice for Lukien. I see he is freezing and stealing disabled. Here is my normal set plus I have tons of other weapons at my disposal

Lukien's a butt. Be prepared to lose A LOT. He really likes cursing you to only be able to use one weapon, and giving himself a blessing that blocks most damage, so blasting to try and disable one or both of the things that activate those is an option but he's got so much other stuff equipped that the odds aren't good. Including a lot of healing stuff.

That particular blessing doesn't block dark, nor does most of his other weaponry; he has three full-dark-blocks and once those are gone he can't block any dark icons at all. So loading up to just deal a ton of dark is another option.

Honestly I'm pretty sure I beat him in the end by waiting until I was capped or almost capped and could facetank him until he died. Did I mention he's a butt?

His biggest hitter does a ton of dark, so you probably want to be blocking that with Maniacal Essence as your main constant. He can potentially do a lot of air, fire, light, physical or earth as well. Cronus is nice for the stat boosts, you're going to need to endure a lot. Make sure your scrolls are focused on healing and blocking to help carry you through the rounds where you can only use one weapon. And pray. :P Good luck.

Omg today is the day my pet won against Prodigy for the first time :) (I don't know, it might be super late for his stats but I still didn't save up enough for Natasha...)

I wonder if we'll get the monthly challenger today. Cause tomorrow is the Spring items, then Friday or Saturday will be Bonus Weekend, and Masquerade will probably start at some point then too. So it would make sense for the monthly challenger to happen before all of that does.

Okay, looking for advice. I'm trying to earn a Magic Egg for my foodie pet. Which means I need 5 wins on either Blood Bat, Rictus or Tide from a Tier 1, 2, or 3 pet. Coincidently, my foodie pet is currently a Tier 2, almost Tier 3.

I'm assuming Tide would probably be the easiest of the 3, but I'm having trouble figuring out a good set for such a low-tier pet. any advice?

Yes, Tide will be the easiest. If you're not otherwise interested in battling and just want to get in and get out without spending too much sP, I recommend this tier 2 set:

If you want to spend less, you can skip some or all of the pineapples. If you want to spend a little more, you can mod them and/or the healers with Dark Brilliant Crystals (cheap) or Wind Cabochon Crystals (really cheap).

Is LordAdderhead the pet in question? If so, he has enough intel to use a Hydra of Tears scroll, which you can buy cheaply or make for practically nothing. This will make things substantially easier.

You should be able to get your five wins without making additional investments in stats or intel.
