There's still plenty of time for event challengers, they're usually the last week of the event so I'd expect them today or tomorrow.

I thought challengers usually came towards the end of the event and were only around for 4-5 days? I'm gonna be a skeptic and say even if they do come,. It'll be the same tired loot that's already flooding the market. It will at least be good for people that don't have the achievement, assuming it's the luchadors

It seems like the last few years, they came about a week after the start of the event, so we should be due soon for them. If theyre coming.

But leap day is two days away and the next pet slot will cost me 200k which I'm not even near, so I'm very conflicted whether or not I should sell all the Mage Amulets I've been saving for when Cieran has progressed a bit? I have between ~ 10 and 20 of each and am not sure if that (together with doing all the quests for the next two days) will even get me the necessary amount of SP, so it would be a gamble, too ... What would you guys do? Would selling all of the Amulets be like a major setback at training? I'm not exactly sure when is the best time to start doing the Mage Quests, anyway?

Cieran is only tier 7, will soon-ish hit tier 8, do you think there's plenty of time to start a new collection of amulets until it's time to do Mage Quests? (I just don't want to "waste" the amulets on low stats when it would be just as easy to use the training center.) Right now it's either selling my amulets or choosing between Bette and the leap day-baby 😕

You'll be fine without the amulets. I would just sell them if the pet slot means that much to you :) I don't think it would set you back much because that's about the equivalent of 200 stats + 50 intelligence/3 AP or so.

Thanks for the numbers, that actually makes it way easier to consider :) The AP don't bother me much as there are still plenty of books she hasn't read yet. 200 stats do seem a lot, though ... Then again, I guess I've lost WAY more every single day I didn't do BQs ... I think I'm really leaning towards selling. Thank you for the advice :)

I am assuming you mean 200mil, not 200k? It depends on what you value more. Right now, your pet will do just fine without the amulets, but if you continue to train, you will benefit from using tomes in T11+ if Intel is important to you. You have about 100 - 200 amulets if I am understanding that correctly?

Would you like someone to hold the pet for you while you save?

The training center is way over-rated anyways.

Right, 200mil, sorry. I have about 150-160 amulets at the moment and was originally saving them for later. So starting to use tomes makes sense in T11+? In that case there'd be plenty of time left to start a new collection. I'm not really sure whether I value Intel or not, at the moment I just make sure to read all the books I come across - guess I'm just figuring this out as I go 😊 I always thought the tomes were useful for general stats once training sessions become extremely long and reward-stats for BQs require lots of exp?

Edit: Sorry, I missed your post while I was typing :) I don't really know people well enough to ask that, especially since there are aleays periods of time that I'm unexpectedly going inactive for a while. Not sellling the amulets could mean that it will take ages for me to be able to afford the new slot.

You can use a tome whenever, most people wait until higher tiers because of training time and battle exp costs going up so yes you are correct. It's just one of those things you may kick yourself for later because thats 150 amulets you used for something else.

Also keep in mind that only books can give you AP. Once you are out of cheap or obtainable books, you can raise Intel all you want with boosters but won't gain AP

Question, would someone be able to use a pet slot from the MC if it was sent to them? I'm apparently on my third one for 60mil. If I bought it and sent it to to use, would that work in giving her the pet slot or no?

But I thought it over and came to the conclusion that Bette is a way better name for the species/color I had in mind and that one of my other pets could really use that certain other name ... So I guess that down the line I will just try to adopt a leap day-pet from this year. Still, thank you so much though!
