When I try to log in, it takes me to a second login page as if my username or password were incorrect. However, if I log in again from that page, it takes me to the PIN entry page - so it's definitely not that I'm not using the right UN/PW.
This is only a problem because I initially thought I'd forgotten my password after being away most of this year. I even tried to reset my password... And got a link that lead to a broken page. Whoops.
This has happened across multiple computers running different OSes, with different iterations of Chrome. I haven't tried other web browsers.
It may be that the first page has got "secure login" selected, and the second one does not. The secure login is finicky. Be sure to uncheck it and see if that prevents the "two logins" issue.
Lost Password should be fixed now.
afaik, unless I'm blind (possible), the new front page doesn't have the option to select Secure Login :/ the second page it takes me to has the option, and it's selected by default. I haven't bothered to unselect it.
ETA: Glad to hear the reset it fixed!
Hm, I just had to log out and test, and you're right. It doesn't. I am also using Chrome and I am unable to personally reproduce your issue. :( I would definitely advise trying another browser (Firefox being our other preferred browser) to assist in narrowing down potential culprits.
I'm having this issue across multiple computers running different versions of Chrome. Just tried it on IE (the only other browser I have access to rn haha!), and same issue.
I was wondering if the two-step PIN was the issue. Do you have the PIN enabled?
I do not. Can you try temporarily disabling yours to see if it makes a difference in your login process?
Yep, that did it. Cleared my cache, tried again, logged in without any issues. The PIN seems to be the issue.
I wonder if you're having the same (or part of the same) routing issue I seem to be.
If I play on the office computer (outdated, unable to update Firefox browser) and type just 'subeta.net' into the address bar, it does not reroute to the secure https:// site. Logging in via the unsecured homepage directs me to the dedicated login page with the news lady on the secured site.
Site &;Not secure&; on Chrome but secure on other browsers
Edit: Whomp...late post. Nevermind, ignore me :'D
Oh, heck, that might be it - I do go to subeta.net, and it is unsecured. I didn't even notice. I'm also playing on office computers that are oudated. It only seems to redirect me when I have the PIN enabled, though, which is weird.
Just tested it by going straight to https:// with PIN enabled and it didn't redirect me when I logged in. For now, I'll just do that!
ETA: Tested it on my phone with my Brave browser and with Chrome. Brave automatically redirected to https, Chrome didn't.
It took me a while to realize what was going on as I initially put it down to the ancient computer just being weird. Remembering to actually type the https:// is its own issue. I haven't typed that since the 90's XD
I have the exact same experience but on firefox (my only browser).
Next time I get logged out and have to log back in I'll try to notice if the URL is secure or not. I thought it was. Just have the experience of -going to the main site while logged out -trying to log into the little login widget thing on the main page -getting brought to a dedicated login page because "wrong username/pw" -typing the same info in on this page -proceeding to my pin page because it's deemed correct this time even though it's the same info I used to begin with -being able to login after putting my pin in
I believe the issue is the http home page log in isn't working (or at least that is what I have experienced)
IE. http://subeta.net/ doesn't work https://subeta.net/login.php & https://subeta.net/ works
If I go directly to the log in page, I don't have to log in twice.

Just want to let you know this issue is still being looked into. Thank you for your patience!
Could you please confirm that the home page login works as long as it is from an HTTPS address? (It worked for me, but I am not sure if that is the case for everyone.)
I'm not sure why the insecure version of the website is still not consistently redirecting you to the secure version. I will speak with Keith about that once he's back from the holiday. :)

Have rechecked and can confirm the https home page works, only the http doesn't work Modified my post accordingly to reflect the information more accurately :) It's good to know that's the issue

All right, so that is interesting. It looks like this is actually an extension of this issue: Site &;Not secure&; on Chrome but secure on other browsers If we fix the http redirect, it will also resolve the login issue.
The login will not be fixed by itself, since it is good that it doesn't let you log in on an insecure connection.
Going to lock this but will keep it in this forum for now for visibility.
