I also read all the cash shop books recently, as well as some newer ones after the sale has ended. I didn't check to see if the intel had been tallied or not... :/

Yeah, I bought and read a bunch of Cash Shop books to my battle pet. I have no way of knowing if her INT is correct. She's read 2151 books and her INT is 2385. I've boosted her INT with potions, I collect from her job daily and know she's gotten INT from that a lot. Not sure if you get INT from coins and scratchcards, but I've used lots of those too!

I'm really annoyed this wasn't announced "officially" - I don't track her INT closely unless I'm specifically working on a job requirement or gaining AP.

Well. I guess now is a better time than any to finally give up on reading books/intel boosting for good. No idea if any intel points were lost or not.

Fantastic. Loved the fact I was told about this by staff and told not to read any more books to my pets. She said sarcastically. But really, thanks for the pings fellow users.

I haven't had an issue thus far, everything read has counted for every pet I've read to...but now I'm paranoid to read any books in case the next time it messes up.....I hope it is getting looked into/fixed.

Hey guys, think y'all might want a heads up that there is a glitch with intel not always being credited. It doesn't seem to be affecting everyone, but better safe than sorry?

I know y'all don't love pings, but hey you can delete a ping and Intel is valuable n_n;

Thanks for the ping!!! No warning from staff?!!!! this topic was created on the 11th!!! I did read a few books to several pets the other day and I suppose it worked correctly - I don't check, unless I think a new AP may be close - the ones, who were due an AP got theirs. But the chance of int. dropping just like this is even worse!

Oh bother, I've been reading any books I've gotten from Melody's and haven't even looked to see if they were counting or not. Ooh wait, I've been updating the battle guide, and I did a fresh snapshot of the pets page for one of the graphics. So looking at that from yesterday, and having read a book today from Melody's, it counted. But any books before that, I have no clue. How will i know if it's counted or not? By checking the Books Read?

Would have been fucking nice if a news post or something was made addressed by staff about this issue.

I think if anyone is knowingly affected, it would help to report your before/after intel and what you were doing, it will probably help staff pinpoint the issue.

Personally I have done both boosting and reading, and my AP has increased but I haven't been tracking every point as I just assumed everything was crediting correctly :x

If anyone is up for reading to a baby pet and reporting your findings, it will probably help x')

I read 4 books for testing. Starting int 316, 19 AP. Each book Intel went up 1, at 320, the AP went up 1 correctly.

Just tested 10 books on my reader and his intelligence and AP seem unaffected, thankfully. I have no idea what my intelligence was prior but it's about what I'd expect based on my books read and limited stat boosting.

Still super annoying this BASIC site feature and stat is broken all of a sudden and no official posts regarding it.

it's been about a week with no info for me, my int went down to 1 from over 1300, my ap went with it. i'd read books to my pets after the problem started, i didn't notice/didn't know it was a problem at all and that int wasn't increasing but then one day i discovered that i couldn't use my scrolls in battle. that's how i discovered my pet's int was reset.

so tl;dr my int was reset independently of increases, if this helps anyone

i'm at the point where i'm not using any books, boosters or exp points in fear of the site devouring them. it's really harshing out my love of battling.

thanks for the ping. WHY hasn't there been an announcement about this yet?! I thought we were getting better about announcements... I have no idea how long this has been going on but i've read my pet expensive books within the past week or so and also a few lower priced ones but I haven't been paying attention to the intelligence. :( I guess I won't be reading them any more books for awhile!
