that's it for this week! yall all looked FANTASTIC, it was so hard to pick the winners! in fact, i decided to pick an extra runner up, just because it was so hard to decide. i picked based on adherence to the theme -- trashiness, business, and colours -- and also overall aesthetic appeal. the winners are....
♡ grand prize ♡

congratulations! you made a true trash princess. i love all the ragged shapes and hideous colours. she looks right at home in her room c:
♡ runner ups ♡

i loved yalls entries! they all perfectly suit the idea of finding your home among things that most people look over.
the raffle winner is !! i will send you your gift box later tonight.
for all art winners -- please contact me at your convenience either by smail or on discord (dank hank # 5380) about what you would like for a subject. visual references appreciated if possible, but written references are ok too, just be as detailed as you can. make sure you check out the prize options available to you listed on the first post too. if you have any questions, i can answer those there as well. ^-^
i will open the next contest before today is over, you'll find it in this same thread and under the contest pings again. the prizes will be the same, so if you didn't win this time, come on over and have another go!

Thank you and congrats to all the winners! These HAs are all so creative and beautiful in a wonderfully strange way. This theme was so much fun! Thanks again for hosting!
I'm pretty sure no one likes finding mouse and rat poop around their house (and in their silverware drawer)! I also had some wild mice in a house once years ago -- I thought they were adorable but their little "presents" were less than pleasant. I managed to catch and release them all safely using humane traps.
My first rat was rescued from a feeder tank when I was a kid. I named him "Figment" because he was meant to be a figment of my dad's imagination -- seeing as I was told "no more pets" prior, haha. I kept him a secret for almost two weeks. Eventually he was discovered and the whole family loved him anyway. I was ignorant about rats back then; now knowing how social they are I'm sure Figment would've been happier with another rat for a companion. But he actually got along great with my dogs! He was a sweet little guy with a unique personality and really showed me how awesome rats are. I've loved them ever since -- of course, the bad thing about them is their short lifespan. I fall apart too, every single time, but I always cherish the memories.
Sorry for my rat ramble. XD
