Hi all! It’s been over two weeks now since my surgery, and I’m feeling like myself again at last! I have five new scars to remind me of this interesting time lol Anyway, I spent so much time in bed that I get tired very quick doing regular activities. Now I’ve never been an active girl, but this is just sad lol Anyway, I have one more week off of work. I plan on cleaning my house, and going on a few day trips. I hope you all are feel great too

I was busy this weekend so I wasn't on a lot of the day. I'm exhausted haha.

Good morning everyone! Hope you are well. I'm doing good, for those who are wondering. :) <3

I've started a new job this past week as a receptionist in a local hospital surgery & radiological department and I LOVE IT! So far it's the best job I have had. The drive is killer (1 hr 8 minutes) but 2 hours of work will cover the gas each day. Right now I work 4 days a week until my team member gets on board then we will alternate the weekdays sharing Wednesday. 3 days on and 4 days off. Part-time is better than nothing and there is a great potential for growth and improvement.

Chris is still looking for work but that is an ongoing struggle since he decided to do a complete career change. This area isn't very supportive of Men leaving the coalfields.

My youngest is getting married in October. She is going to the courthouse and we are having a big reception and she's planning her honeymoon in Florida. Love my new son, he is amazing and treats her really well.

How have ya'll been? What have I missed?

I'll be seeing her again soon so hopefully there will be other options. I could be getting them also from my neck pain, 4 years ago I had the shots that stop the pain but I think they might be wearing out. The doctor told me they could last 4 days or years depending on what you do like lifting heavy things etc. I'm so sorry to hear your skin cancer might possibly be back :( ((((Hugs))))) That must be so scary! I hope you were able to get something from the Pawn Shop I was able to get a couple of cute things. I'm glad you had a nice trip :) Congratulations to all of you winners, you guys ROCK at that! WOW! I'm so happy to hear you and Bruce are doing well ❤ I'm so glad your surgery went well and you are feeling like yourself again hopefully you won't overdo it on your house. I know you’re here for me Terry, I love you for it! <3 Are there any other tests they can do to try to figure out why you are getting these headaches? Did they also do scans of your neck and spine? $150 for pain meds? That is ridiculous!! Was that for a months supply? I don’t understand how they expect those of us who are getting older, and, living on fixed income to afford that... We barley make enough money to afford our essentials! Ugh ? it makes me sad to see what has become of our great country! ?? ?? God bless the USA ?? ?? It is a little scary thinking that I now have skin cancer in a few spots on the back of my head, all I can do is hope for the best! I got one CW from the pawn shop. I also bought some of the new vanity items. I’m happy with that! :). I’m glad you were able to grab a few things, I’m sure they are lovely, and, you’ll make beautiful HA’s with them! Now it's all over she's getting back to her daily routine again.She's back to work & doing good,I'm sure she'll have her bad days.But she's hanging in there.So we're taking the baby with us shopping so she can sleep today when she comes home from work. Hugss
