The Monthly Hugs event is just a way to show our appreciation for the person chosen that month :) That could be gifts, kind messages, anything you'd like.

The monthly Hugs event is a drawing where people smail me the name of one person they feel deserves to be honored for the next month :) Then I tally up the number of votes and if there's a tie, it's broken randomly. The only stipulations are that someone can't win two months in a row, and you can't nominate me or yourself. There's also a lottery where I draw one name from the people who sent in nominations and that lucky person receive a wishlist item.

We had a little power out here because off al the rain and thunder we had yesterday evening today. Dry now but so weird weather. My trip with my friend was nice, but glad to be home.

Thank you terry for thinking of me, and, for your prayers! Thank you for understanding my being gone, or not talking much! Love and Huggs to you my friend!!! I had Ashley take a picture of the bumps on my head. It looks like the skin cancer that I had removed from my temple a few years ago is now on the back of my head in a few spots. Ugh! Of course, I will have it confirmed by the Dr. when I see him.
