Yeah IDK, it might be nice in the future to have Rouland come out on the 30th instead of the 31st so we can have two days, if they don't want to extend it into November for whatever reason.

One day for battling something wouldn't be as bad if it was just the battling, but since it's the last day for everything Morostide-related, everyone is rushing to finish whatever they need to do so it's the battling on top of all the other page loads going on.

I managed to get my battles done right after he was released, but for people with multiple battle pets they could easily be spending most of the day working on it and then having to wait for pages to load on top of that.

I don't have her unlocked and just deleted 20 minions purchased directly from the minion market. Definitely either not available right now or glitched.

I wonder if this is something worth sending a ticket or something to ask about? Or posting on Problems & Bugs or whatever. Because I can't remember who, but someone sent me a comment earlier in October or September or something asking about Maybel because they were having trouble with it. If it's multiple people experiencing an issue now, it seems like it might be a glitch.

As far as I know, those challengers are meant to be unlocked at any time. I haven't seen staff say anything about retiring them.

[edit]I know someone else was having trouble unlocking Euclid during Morostide too, but I'm not sure if that was because of the issues with the human zapper and all that too, or if there's some sort of glitch for other challengers as well. I already have all of the current ones unlocked, so I wouldn't be able to test and see. :(

I'd rather see Rouland stretch into November 1st than have him start on October 30th. The site is positively zippy today compared to the past month.

I read your message in the middle of the night and just realized I'd never actually replied in my sleepy state. Thank you for the congratulations! I definitely wasn't expecting to get a Shriek, luck was on my side that day. And congratulations to you for the three extra wins, that's awesome to hear! It's definitely one of the things I've been loving about battling - sometimes you can achieve things that seem pretty much impossible if you just keep trying, and trying, and trying. (Although sometimes you can't achieve things that seem like they should be easy, so it kind of evens out XD).

- battling has a way of rewarding persistence. You can sometimes get a very lucky win but you have to still be battling or that doesn't happen. For what it's worth, I have mostly found that when easy things turn out to be very difficult, I am usually using the wrong weapons/scrolls or trying to battle with a pet that just doesn't quite have enough health yet (mine are all even builds so far and high health pets can get wins sooner) or trying to battle without enough AP (mine are all pretty low). Congratulations once more on getting that Shriek. I think any T7 pet brave enough to battle Nightlady and persistent enough to actually beat her definitely deserves to have a Shriek drop.
