Hey guys...these are my main sets (the ones I swap around now and then) . I'm wondering if the Cursed Liquid Fire Torch and the Core of the Island (so close to getting it!) can replace any of the weapons in the set.

The main set Haneul has been using is the first one, and for the most part, it does the job fairly well. I'm just curious about how those two weapons could replace other weapons, or have the potential to be part of a new set

Cursed Liquid Fire Torch is a fire blocker so it really depends on the opponent.

I suppose Core of the Island can replace your UltimaPlus Tag, but really I would use neither and just opt for both Reviver of the Lion and Phoenix Quill in each set.

I have no idea, I still haven't seen anything official about it. With only like 5 days left though, I wouldn't be surprised at this point if we just maybe don't get them this year, although I would be sad if that's the case. :c

You have super outgrown the ultima tag. The cursed torch is good against opponents that deal fire. You could ultimately replace it with soma tablets.

Also, the eyeball is a superior water blocker to the sierrac flail. I would just remove the flail.

Yeah, I know Haneul has out grown it...but it steals,...and I'm not buying the tablets yet...I borrowed them once (can't remember the opponent that I was fighting) and I found them to be good, but not what I was expecting I suppose. They are on my wishlist.

I am such a lame battler, I have never really noticed what weapon blocks what...and what opponents deal what...

Half the battle is knowing your opponent, otherwise you can have the best weapons and still struggle =/ The tablets are good in that it betters your odds against opponents. It will blast a weapon, has a chance to freeze and steal. However, a lot of high tier opponents have stealing disabled so stealing is not an ability you need. The main benefit to the blaster and tablets are that they can disable two opponent weapons. That can cripple a lot of opponents, but like everything else there is a chance for a bad blast.

Every battler goes through losses. Some of us go through A LOT, it's just the nature of this battling system. I have had instances where my pet will get an opponent down to 600 HP only to lose to a crit hit or my parched blessing gives out and I get frozen to death. It doesn't mean my strategy is bad, there is just always a chance for failure.
