there's some books I always skip certain parts of too when I reread. If you already know what happens, and that part isn't the fun part! Laurel Hamilton went so far overboard with smut in her novels I lost interest, and I was nowhere near old yet, I think I wasn't even yet 40.

But in a new book you wouldn't catch me skipping a good sex scene (and if it's bad I probably wouldn't like the rest of the book enough to finish, least I don't remember any case recently.)

Let's see, I've made steak, wings and a whole chicken - yes there are other ways to cook those but the clean up is so easy! Regularly I cook/roast veggies, shrimp and frozen french fries but I also make my own and roast them. My hubs loves frozen chicken wings and again super easy clean-up and more crispy. I bought liners and often use those and clean is really really easy then. Basically anything that will fit that you would normally fry or bake can be cooked in an air fryer. And clean up is so easy!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-P

:) You look like you're ready for spring. (don't bust my bubble about LKH being a fake! lol that would SO disappoint me) even though, i have noticed "IN MY opinion" that she seems to be a really 'bitchy' person. but at the same time, i would understand that, if she's trying to get things done, and there is a lot of 'interruption'

I'll still get LKHamilton's Merry series, just because I want to continue with the "story" part of it. but I'll no longer buy it "fresh" (hardback, as soon as it's printed and released) which, yes, i used to do. now. if i'm going to buy any of her stuff, it's for the story portion, and I usually wait over a year to get it, because i'm not spending 14 bucks on her books.

grin. when everyone got so excited a few years ago, with the '40 shades' stuff, I always thought "why's everyone freaking out about that? I've read more serious porn in my romance novels" :D :D :D

I've heard there is a used book store here in Lynchburg, but it's a 'religious' book store, and i have no interest going into it. of course. I can barely walk any more (sucks :) heh) so I don't really go into any store. guess that's another reason why I get so many e-books.

besides. I love having all my books in "one place" heh. that was so confusing, getting in the mood for a certain story, and never remember which shelf or book case or pile it was in. :D
