Your grandparents sounds awesome. lol My grandad that was like 86 at the time, refused to get hearing aids.. even tho his hearing got quite bad, he said those were only for old people. lol Made me laugh. I am not sure what old would be if not in your late 80s. :)

Yeah, Mum did consider trying to help, but she's a bit wary as the hairdresser usually bring things with her to make it work - I think she uses the kitchen sink to do their hair over (Grandad also can't wash his own hair,. but I don't think it worries him in the same way), so I'm guessing she brings a kind of portable shower attachment that can go on the taps.

yes I totally get the reasons and I don’t really want the meds either. Glad they gave her some finally! Well it was surgically removed in March because it was infected. That’s when the doc told me the root of the problem was this tendon thingy. I really had no idea I had any problems to put together. But he told me things that happened with my legs that I was like o.0 how did you know? Since the walking is improved on my right leg, the callus will finish going away since the pressure points won’t be on it anymore and I’ll be walking more properly and with the proper circulation to my legs.

One with the protests going on, there will probably be an increase in Covid and even if there isn’t, it’s just not the right time since we aren’t sure it’s gone away enough yet. That's very true. I guess if there aren't as many vendors willing to go anyway, then that might mean they cancel it regardless of whether the organisers feel it's safe to still run it or not (as they'd not be getting as much money in, so it might not end up worth running it). laughs now that was definitely a creative idea to have the door prizes! :D

nods I mean I thought the car show being cancelled so early, was crazy as who knew what was going to happen a couple of months from then, but knowing what we do now with things, I think it was a lot of wishful thinking on the part of the parade's organisers! Of course I think it was also their 20th year of running it, so they were planning some extra special events for this year.

I'd only entered their competition for fun - you had to draw a Swiss Cheese Plant leaf, so I thought there'd be some amazing other entries and I wouldn't stand a chance of winning! Mum was using my phone just to check something on an app that she didn't want to bother downloading for herself, when she saw the notification pop up that I'd been sent a message on Instagram, which she had a feeling would be them saying I'd been picked as the winner laughs

there is nothing wrong with taking pain meds IF you need them and it sure sounds like you do. Most of the pain I'm currently dealing with is that now I've got a lot of energy back, I'm back to being in motion (and I'm ADHD, with the H) and my muscles got lazy.

Sounds like a fun lil expo! :D I bet Maya's album will be the cutest thing ever. xD I just love the albums I have for Salem and Pusur. ^_^

That is possible, I guess it is tricky since you have to make sure your Gran is comfortable while doing it. Hope you can find a good solution for her. :)

Yeah, I think it was a bit more than Mum felt happy being responsible for, to be honest! There's a rumour that hairdressers will be able to reopen their salons early next month, but because the hairdresser Gran and Grandad have does home visits, I don't know if she'll be willing and able to start them then, or if that would be a longer wait (the government aren't very good at giving much advanced information on timescales, other than "no earlier than" which isn't much help when they need to figure out booking in appointments and whatever! ;))

That is not that easy to work with. :) Its a difficult balance, letting people have access to things they need and trying to keep people healthy at the same time. I am glad I am not responsible for setting the rules!

Argh my glasses lens has just fallen out grumbles Thankfully Mum found the screw, and I have a spare pair I can wear (I can't function without my glasses on).... but I can't hold the frame tight enough to get the screw back in (I don't think it was ever screwed in tightly in the first place), so I have a feeling I'm going to have to get Dad to take them into the opticians for me sighs I sent them an email to see what they can offer, but seeing as I only got these about 6 months ago, they definitely should not have had this problem already!

That is annoying! I would hope they fix them for free, since the glasses are relatively new. :fingers crossed: Glad you at least have a spare pair you can use for now. :)

The optician phoned yesterday, and arranged for Mum to take the glasses in so they could fix them - she went in this morning, and the optician redid the screw for free :) I just need to clean them off (normally I wouldn't bother, but I feel I want to clean them before I put them on!), then hopefully later I can swap back over to wearing those ones - and hopefully it won't come loose again! ;)

I got finished cleaning my bathroom and played a new game on my switch. :)

....and with that, RP-Paddy's outfit finally shows up laughs so I'll go and change to see if Niamh actually lets me show off her other outfits ;)
