Yes, I posted a pic when I bought it last year. However, there are so gorgeous custom made skins and accents (hers is an accent actually), yet often 2000 gems..... This one was 500.

Awesome! I'm trying to brew extras anyway just in case, so if you or anyone here ends up needing them I might have extras. Baldwin is really not cooperating with the ingredients though...I just need lots of green/common sludge or whatever and I keep getting everything but that!

Eh. It's quite similar to genes we already have (Paint, Opal) and I'm not big on splotchy, asymmetric patterns anyway. Still, I'm sure it'll have its uses and it does interesting things with accent colors. I'd be more excited about it if it wasn't yet another gem gene. Jeez that site has a lot of cash stuff. I wish they'd offer a premium account instead; somehow I feel better just subscribing to a site I enjoy than getting bombarded with cash items all the time.

(And I do enjoy FR a lot. I hope it doesn't seem like I only have negative things to say about it. For some reason I feel like I mostly use this thread to vent about it, that's kinda sucky I guess, sorry. I even just purchased gems yesterday, but I prefer to use them on user-made accents. They tend to be more reasonably priced than gem genes.)

I haven't played around with it enough to have an opinion on whether i like it or not, but I do feel about it same as with glow-tail that it's just not really spectacular enough as is now to warrant the gems. They improved on glowtail to make it worth the gems so I guess what I'm saying is the koi gene can be improved xD

i love it too. It's prettier than piebald or paint and has sparkles on the scales! It's gorgeous!
