You are having a baby human. 51% of baby humans are designated male at birth based on body shape, although not all baby humans actually have XX chromosomes if designated female or XY chromosomes if designated male.

I rolled a 70 on a d100, so my guess is that your baby will appear to be female on the US and at birth. Around 95.5% of babies consistently identify as the gender they are assigned when they are older, so the odds are good that you will have a baby girl if my guess is right.

This does not, of course, rule out the possibility that your baby's chromosomes may differ from XX nor the possibility that your baby will identify as something other than female--so please, keep an open mind and just enjoy your baby, whether or not you decide to decorate the nursery in pink, blue, or some other cute colour! :D As long as you let your baby feel safe in telling you who they are, whether they turn out to be male, female, non-binary, cis or trans--you'll have a fun adventure and everything should turn out great in the end.

As someone whos trans and nonbinary I'm kinda vaguely uncomfortable with assigning a gender to someone too young to know, and the amount of importance placed on that gender, but also I don't have better suggestions besides being open and listening if your kid says they're a different gender than their body makes them seem one day?

With that little disclaimer out of the way I'm gonna guess designated male.

I have total respect for those who choose to identify as a gender other than what they are designated at birth. I personally love the idea of putting bows on my baby girl tho, as I myself am just addicted to them.

But I would never judge or hinder them from making their own decision as they grow up.

FYI, my parents painted my room red, blue, and white... not American themed but rather anything could be. They didn't care if I'd be a boy or a girl as long as I was healthy. Only child... dad never stopped teaching me something because I was a girl. It's thanks to him that I rock power tools B)
