it was 10:18pm when I hit stage 3, I'm still waiting on stage 4. I currently am having another issue with my HA not showing up that I made a ticket for but wouldn't be fixed dispite attempts from both of us >_<, but I was told the strain should progress regardless.
Still it's 4:39 and I have not progressed to my final stage which seems abit long for a vial strain. Am I jumping the gun or do I have a problem?
Has all 2009 strains, all 2010 strains, all 2011 strains, all 2012 strains, all 2015 strains, all 2016 strains, all 2017 strains, all 2018 strains, all 2019 strains, all 2020 strains, all 2021 strains, all 2022 strains, All 2023 strains, all 2024 strains, all Vial strains, Biodoominessence, Batnip, Cakewalk, and Stalacbite,
I'm having the same problem here. I got bit yesterday and infected and am still on stage 1 of Fevermore since then. I don't think it's supposed to take that long is it?
You’re definitely on stage two:
Here are the Fevermore stages on SubetaLodge. Each one takes 13.5-16.5 hours.
Your infection has reached the final stage, so it's been converted to an avatar skin! You can now switch to the default human skin (or any other non-zombie skin you've unlocked) in the wardrobe if you'd like to get a different virus.

thanks! I just wasn't sure how long they were. ^_^
I haven't gotten any of stages of Red and started around this time yesterday evening. I've also resaved my HA multiple times and still nothing.
Like a good neighbor, stay over there!

I'm actually curious about this as well.
I was infected with Clusterflux at 1:05 am on Mon morning, and it's currently 19 hours and change, with no visible switch to Stage 2 despite repeatedly clicking "wear" with no other skin on in the Wardrobe and then checking and refreshing the healer page.
Edit: It finally popped at 19 hours and about 18 minutes. That's one really super long stage.
I have a question. I'm still confused and the FAQ only vaguely answers this.
It's my first Survival signing up for the VIP. I did so last night, and it's been almost 24 hours that I'm waiting "in the queue," and there was no estimate time on the page with whatever his name is (the FAQ suggests there's some kind of countdown but there's none for me).
I cancelled and re-signed up again for the same strain, but I got the same screen telling me to wait, without any time estimate at all. What's the average wait time to be infected? Is it more than a day? Two days?
The FAQ just says the wait times can fluctuate depending on how many people signed up, but I don't know what to expect by that.
I advise heading over to this thread and pinging the beans with the strain you want. They can bite you and speed up the infection process! I believe cancelling resets your progression and I do not know how the official VIP process works, other than allowing other users to bite you.
@ Devil
It was one of this year's strains, so no bitey yet. And as a matter of fact I just got the alert now, so cancelling seems to have worked for me. ;)
Let! Us! Bite!
Aa okay, that makes sense then! I'm glad it worked out (I got the wrong strain somehow when I signed up so this body is a caggeee-). B)
There's an issue with the cache not updating on some avatars. I suggest going to the Healer to get an accurate timetable of when your strain is progressing, because looking at your HA by itself right now is unreliable. If that page isn't updating, hit Ctirl+Shift+R or Ctrl+F5 to give the page a hard refresh.
Up thread I mentioned I'd been refreshing at the healer's page in between resaving the avatar. I've also been using the sapi.subeta.net plus usernumber link as a secondary source.
I don't believe that's the issue.
Edit: I will admit I didn't actually use CTRL +F5, but if using the healer page and the "click wear in Wardrobe" cache fix that admins stated themselves would work still isn't working right, that is something that needs to be noted and fixed. If we can't reliably find out when we're progressing, that is still a problem.
Either we have cache issues that aren't working even while doing what admins say we should do, or there's a 19+ hour stage happening.
Were you hard refreshing it and seeing your avatar change? For instance, did the image at the Healer change when you took your skins on and off, but your underlying virus wasn't updating as well?
So far staff have said that viruses have been progressing normally so I'm more of the mind that it's a cache issue on our end because I was having the same problem with my HA not updating on my laptop. When I go on my phone though, I don't have that problem; it's bizarre.
[edit]Yeah, that 'wear now' trick isn't working. Try hard refreshing next time and see if it changes anything for you?
Haha, I edited my post and I wonder if we crossed the streams. I did not do a CTRL + 5 refresh, but the admins told us flat out that clicking "wear" in wardrobe and then checking the healer would work. If that isn't a viable solution, then we need to know that and/or someone needs to investigate that and get out better info.
So we're still at the point of the cache not working correctly despite what admins have been telling us or a 19+ hour strain. Either way, it's an issue.
Edit: It did change, eventually. I will have to recalculate for the projected stage 3 as if it was working well and see. Some hard data for future stages should help clarify the issue.
Stages are supposed to take 13.5-16.5 hours. So I guess that would make you hit stage 4 some time before 10:05 AM today, Subeta time? That would be a good time to check if your strain is progressing as it should.
Already on it.
The infection happened at 1:05 am Subeta time Monday morning. The earliest stage 2 could have popped, according to that proposed schedule (is that posted anywhere? I believe others have said max is 18 hours) would have been at 2:35 pm - 5:35 pm Subeta time instead of when I believe it popped, at 10:20 pm Subeta time.
I've calculated out proposed times based on a 14-18 hour window both from the time it should have popped this afternoon and when I believe it actually popped. We'll see what happens.
Earlier today, there was a glitch causing some delays earlier today (of a few hours) - It was resolved a few hours ago, about the time you guys started noticing your strains progressing again.
We're still keeping an eye on it.
