My strain has not progressed past stage 5, it's been days already. I got the Vapours by the way.

I believe I'm stuck as well (been checking regularly at the Healer). Still on the first stage of Grosseries. Got my strain the day before yesterday so it's like 1,5 days now?
Edit: seems like I skipped the second stage and am now progressing!
Have you tried to visit your wardrobe and saved your ha? Mine gets stuck every time as well but each time I save it everything works as it should (:
I received my notice of event on Friday at 9:44 am. (Thank you for using the Volunteer Infection Program! You have been matched with an Infection Specialist, now you just need to sit back and enjoy the ride...) This is for The Vapors (White) I went to the healer a couple minutes ago and I seemed still to be stuck on stage 2 until I went back to my wardrobe and saved to site again. Going back to the healer showed me a different picture that shows my HA is now at stage 3 for The Vapors. I will now try "saving to site" more often so I can see when the virus moves into another stage...hopefully.
Edit: I did the wardrobe “Save to Site” Sunday 10:33 AM and I have moved to Stage 4 so the wardrobe connection does work. I was seeing Stage 3 until I did that.
Calendar days are closer than they appear! [item=mocking clock]
I was also stuck on stage 6 of grosseries for two/three days until I decided to check my wardrobe and found out it had already been saved as a skin... :<

I don't have trouble with skin progressing, but whenever I get a VIP infection, it never works. I end up waiting a day or so, then cancel and do it again, and never get the alert. I understand the stages can take a day, but I assume that 12-24 hours isn't the usual wait time to get a VIP alert?
........
As I understand it the time between stages can vary from 12 to 16.5 hours. Since I do not remember the rough time estimates of the strains of past years I am trying to calculate if my progression is abnormally slow. If each stage were 12 hours my progression is definitely stunted but since I know it is only rarely that fast I have calculated 15 hours for each progression and even then it seems like I am slightly behind. I was infected around 3 AM 2/22. Stage 1 to stage 5 is four progressions times 15 hours would be 60 hours making it 3 PM on 2/24 adding an hour and a half to make for a 16.5 hour progression would be six hour later at 9 PM.
So am I making an error in my calculation? Is my progression stunted? I have been checking the healer and removing my skin and saving. If the transition from stage 1 to stage 2 took 15 hours for one person will it take the same amount of time for everyone who is infected with the same virus? Or is the time different for everyone?
For me I have to refresh my avatar in the wardrobe just to see any progression. At first I though I was glitched out too. :/ Takes the fun out of the event when I can't see myself getting more infected each day.

I only just found out about this, I was also stuck at stage 2, but after clicking 'wear' in the wardrobe Ive changed to stage 5, which is great, Im so glad I found out from a friend.
But it is still sad that we aren't getting the enjoyment of seeing it change from day to day.
It's been over 24 hours I've been waiting for one of the new diseases. :( Need a ticket?
For everyone who is waiting for their stage 1 to start - who is still waiting to see the "you've been matched with an infection specialist, sit back and enjoy the ride" - it can take up to three full days before you get that message.
That's meant to happen.
If you want to speed things up so you arrive at stage 1 faster, go to the forums and look for the biting thread. Bites from other users can jumpstart stage 1.
Bites cannot speed up any of the stages 1-8, but for every single person asking "when does my stage 1 appear"....get to the biting threads!
