Bright Midnight got here today and I've already read about five chapters.

Congratulations on your new PC! Most of the time I am using my iPad Pro for Subeta but occasionally I need to use my PC because I can’t seem to get it to work properly on the iPad. For instance, changing the order of my pets is next to impossible. There are a couple of other things that I forget at the moment but everything else works better for me on the iPad. So happy to see you here!

one of my best memories of my grandmother is: (Side note: I'm someone who will try anything once, if I like it no problem; if I don't... well) Grandma offered me (I was about 8 I think) partridge/pheasant soup for lunch. It was gross. I poked at it but it was not appetizing at all; she coated the meat in a weird rice batter. She came into the dining room and saw the uneaten soup. "You'll get it for dinner if you don't eat it." She threatened. "Ok." I went either outside to be with the horses or to the safety of the back room. Dinner came and greeting me was the uneaten soup. I poked it again and just stared at it, not eating. "You'll get no dessert and you'll have it for breakfast." "OK." And I went to bed. Next morning the same gross soup greeted me on the table. I looked at the other breakfast fare and wished if have that than the soup of contention. "Are you going to eat it?" "Nope." "You'll have it for lunch." "OK." Grandpa was amused and smiling. Lunch rolled around and instead of the gross soup; I got a ham and cheese sandwich with three homemade pickles (I'd only get one usually). I believe grandpa commented : like mother like daughter.

I know Pureflower is a good pet story writer...

My computer crashed and I lost the place where I was and probably the last of the days I had left to borrow it (Sunday afternoon was my target to finish). Is it as good as you remember? Did any of the links get you to the book you wanted? I am working on minions too. Mostly plushies and beanbags though.

That's a shame. It's a good book. Nothing earth-shattering or dramatic happens in it (except for a scene that is kind of unrealistic) but it's a good solid slice of life story. I really enjoyed it. How far did you get in it?

I have a LONG way to go in the collections and it doesn't help that they keep releasing new items constantly.

I thought every single thing my Grandmother made was delicious...even if it was something from a can - she assembled it so it was delicious. She made chocolate chip cookies that were the best ever. She said it was just the recipe on the bag of chips but mine never turned out as good as hers so she must have done something different. I've been thinking about her lately...

They were planning one of those evenings (what are the characters' names?), she (Phyllis?) told each person to bring something and I guess they were planning to have each person be blind-folded. Does something develop between those two?

Ah, the Blind Man's Party. She wanted their friends to experience life from Sam's POV. It's the scene where the one unlikely thing happened. It was just a bit too contrived. I really shouldn't tell you how the story goes though...

I found it! I only have 2 days left to borrow it, and I don't use the computer on Saturdays so... I hope I will have a chance to finish it. Maybe Saturday night. The unlikely thing is the scene with Pharoah? Watch the movie "Teachers". Has a similar something like that in it. ;)

I washed all the dishes, cleaned the sinks, the counter and the stove top. I deserve subeta time :D Man! I just lost a post I sent that didn't send. MAN! I used to copy longer posts and comments for that very reason, but pages were sending okay so I got out of the habit. :( This one didn't send either, but the comment stayed open while it was trying to send so I could copy it. Rats!

Yeah, that's the scene. He just HAPPENS to escape, they just HAPPEN to hear about it and he just HAPPENS to blunder into their house during the Blind Man's Party. I've never heard of Teachers. I'll try and check it out on Youtube.
