HOw are you holding up? I hope you had an opportunity to be with your family and share memories of happier times when your grandmother was well.

i am tenaciously working with the charger and battery till my new parts come in the post. i am afraid for the battery to drain as i wouldnt be able to see if my charger is actally charging as i would have now way of seeing it ..the slightest movement of laptop will dissconnect from power...so i am back now...i hate being OFFLINE from here so very much. how have you been this new year is it starting out well for you?? i think january is still a rough month we have about five or six birthdays in our family in january..makes it kinda driven.

Reasons to get together and be happy is great. We seem to have monthly birthday parties. I love it! Glad the battery is holding out however long it does!

I think the lag has died down a bit now. Oh my gosh... Thanks! If it was a black and white tuxedo cat, I'd say it was Gilbert. lol

He has three copper pot stills that are in almost constant production making three kinds of spirits, grain whiskey (wheat, rye, corn, etc.), potato vodka and fruit brandies. (all kinds from whatever fruit he can get.) He also has three mash tuns for making ale (he produces eight hogsheads a week for distribution throughout the valley. He is a very industrious creature).

Hey everyone big wave and hugs to all finally made to my appointment last week and got the results back Monday they said everything looks ok but they set up some appointments for me to check other things as well for right now the news I received was good news so right now I am happy about it

: Everybody is doing just fine, I sure have a litter of little personalities on my paws. One big Mr Personality has been a real help. Aya, my smallest from my first litter is here with her mate Robin to lend a paw.

Grandma was the type of person where each relative had a different relationship with her. My uncle who lived closest to her was the 'crown prince' and could do no wrong; mom and me, a bit different. So some shared memories won't be the best to share. (i.e. the only time she said she was proud of me was after I slapped the crown prince's son across the face; I smile every time I think about it, but doubt my uncle would like that story).

I think I've entered the 'irrational angry outburst' stage. I yelled at my mom before heading out and really wish there was an "undo"/"unring the bell" option in real life. I'm still numb; it's hitting at random moments where something said will have a memory resurface; i.e. her delicious pickles.

That is such good news! Yay! I love it when that happens!

Probably not. But you can always share them here. hugs My grandmother made the best cookies. I don't even remember the taste, I am sure they weren't the richest in sugar and oil, but when I was a kid and she was visiting, she would make the dough and roll it out and we would cookie cutter them together. So when I think of the taste, there is a lot of LOVE in it. :) Nice memory.

most my lif di had only an oma in germany(grandmom) who i wrote letters with until she dies quite some time ago and my om died when i was ten..so my papa made all the traditons for us. every december 12th was cookie day where we and the girls friends would all roll out and bake tons of cookies (meaning i own at least six rollers!!!then see the local parade.. then have lunch out ...then return home to decorate out cookies..HUNDREDS of them cant give them away fast enough hahahha...we make gingerbread houses ever dec 6th with friends invited i LOVE having their friends here anytim!!!

oooops sorry i am rambling...just wanted to day no matter if we alter them traditions WILL carry on. i always told my girls...if you can throw a good successful party your IN THERE hahhaha and they CAN NOW..planning is the key

ie baby we have tons of "gum trees "here as well eucalyptus) .down the road we have about three blocks of unincorperated land that is lined with them on both sides toching at the tops so driving under them is like a canopy .heavenly!!! its a great place to walk and ponder life with your faithful pup by your side.. LOVE IT

yes mypapa taught me to sew barbie clothes and doll clothes when i was young..also to darn socks of all things hahah..but that took of into embroidery and creweling(using multiple yarns and floss together. :):)

i rememeber sewing him a christmas shirt in the most beautiful green but i havesome dislexia and made both cuffs going into the same direction..like one is to the right and the other one is ALSO going off to the right not left hahhaha.

i also once gave my best girlfriend all the fabrics for her birthday and for her wedding gift i made her gorgeous dress..ellen barryman(((..she was world champ for 2 years in a row for freestyle skateboarding and ast the time the only barefoot one there ever was..NOW i dunno..they have special shoes for everthing.)))

anna now loves to sew and i got her a nice machine of her own. she is GREAT at buying a thrift store item(s) and alter them without patterns into something she loves ..talented in any art form that one is!!!!

i get frusrated quite quickly when my machine fucks up its threading and get stuck making a pile of threads underside and stops working uuugghhh :( do you like to sew?

whew one down n more to go..hang onto each negative result and then we will all be with you as you venture through what comes next we all love you here as you well know..we are all a happy family here BUT mama bear is out of order i will keep texting her to come visit us again..sighs i miss her so damn much and hey you were here for one cookie day :) ❤
