There is no official vault limit, and also no way to tell how many items are in there. But I know I have a ton of items in my vault and its a hassle to open. I get 502/504 errors regularly. Sometimes it just doesn't load. One thing that helps is to make categories so that the main page stays small. It opens better that way. Unfortunately, you can't mass add stuff to categories, you have manually put items in categories one by one. Fortunately, once something is in a category and you add it to the vault, it will automatically stack with others you already have in a category.

[edit] Just did a quick estimate and I have around 16K unique items, and probably over 150K total items currently stuffed in my vault.

Anytime! LOL I'm very familiar with the frustration of having too many items. I still have stuff in legacy shops because I have no where to put them. I'm slowly working on it.

I got my categories set up, I may add more as I go through my items. But I got a start on it.

great! I've found that keeping up with categorizing is very important. If I procrastinate and let it build up too much I just get discouraged before even starting.

Oh I know its going to be a work in progress all the time to maintain items in categories and keep unsorted to a minimum. I am a month out from surgery and just starting to walk on foot a few steps. But way better than the first 2 weeks.
