I'm trying to get shiny legendaries too so those are the only Pokemon I'm missing from my dex (minus Articuno because I caught him before thinking it would be better to soft reset for him). I'm hoping the shiny charm helps me out because there are so many shinies I'm aiming for!

Yep I did research on it, and the combo can apply to any pokemon, but you don't get the good Ivs on any shiny that isn't the one you are comboing. Now that I know more about this new shiny mechanic I'm going to try to hunt for shiny pikachu and charmander. :)

I'm hoping shiny charm will help me catch some shiny legendaries too. I'm lucky my friend already caught them all normal looking so I could complete my pokedex before pursuing mine! I'm sure it'll help at least a little.

That's very true! I now have a shiny ponyta and rapidash which both have 4 perfect iv's from chaining btw c= (I also caught a shiny doduo I named Avocaduo, haha!) Finally I'm getting shinies to pop up!

So my friend is trading me her extra legendary birds from Pokemon Go BUT I forgot about Pokemon that only evolve through trade. So if anyone would like to help out and let me trade over for Alakazam, Machamp, and Golem that would actually complete my dex. :'D

Update: I just found a shiny Chansey completely on accident and caught it!
