I figured I had more boys than girls

I have 30 pets right now, and all 30 of them are female. :’D

Maybe I’m just gay, but I just... can never get invested in male characters, for some reason? I don’t have any character ideas for genderless pets, either. I find female characters a lot easier to develop and get invested in, even for my fan-pets.

A couple of my males and females need to be genderless, but otherwise I almost exclusively make female characters. They're just more fun for me and I relate to them better.

I think I have slightly more males because I tend to like drawing masculine characters more than feminine ones... but then female names are usually easier for me to find, hah, so it balances out somewhat.

Not too bad for a ratio! I tend to make characters in sets of at least two so that I can develop them through a connection or two, and a lot of the time I really like to have a male and a female. Sometimes the relationship is romantic, but I'm also a total sucker for friendships and siblings, so it varies.

though some of them of the males I've been meaning to change to female and haven't gotten around to changing yet.

I can't write female characters for toffee, I didn't realise the difference was quite that large though!
