I tend to gravitate towards male characters, so this isn't very surprising. Trying to challenge myself and make more female & gender-nonconforming characters, so at least 2 of those guys might one day change. B)

I don't tend to do characters for my pets but two of the male ones (Quacksalot and Shelldon) were made male because of their names.

22 female, 2 male. Bounded Infinity is male for personal reasons, as for Gobi...I don't see a Reborn Sheeta as female.

This thread was a great topic. I guessed before I began to count how many of each type I owned. I assumed it would be about even, but it looks like I had more females than males. I don't think I changed a pet's gender when I adopted them, unless it was random through the lab-ray. Upon closer inspection I had adopted 23 of my pets, with the other 10 being created from scratch. When I made the pets I made 7 female, 2 male and one cog.

Grand total: 20 females 10 males 3 genderless / cog

I didn't expect these to be so even =D. I used to have so many male characters but I've added quite the cast of strong females to the mix and it's nice to see my Subeta family is so well balanced. (I want to say I was originally at 7 males & 3 females when I first joined...back when it was 10 pets with a GA.)

There is a great imbalance coughintheforcecough in my pets genders:

55 females 4 "nongendered" but basically I think of them as female 7 male 1 other - it's a male AND female pet with two heads

A lot of my males could have been females too but I wanted to provide some variation and stretch myself.

11 males and 8 females and 2 genderless. I plan to turn Spiegelei, Uomi and Kuchi genderless because one is a ball of hot gas (Uomi), a tar slime/sludge (Kuchi) and a literal sunny side up egg (Spiegelei). and Nii to be turned female since she's a baby girl. If only the gender/genderless berry wasn't expensive I would've done it asap.

I'm surprised it's this even, honestly! It used to be way more lopsided a few years ago, where I probably had a 5:1 ratio of females to males!

Most of mine are male. It is somehow a lot easier for me to develop male characters. So I still love my few female ones.

I also have 2 male and 5 females that I don't really associate a gender with or often change my mind what gender I think they are so they might change.

Most of mine are male. I have a good number of female pets and a few genderless. I also want to make some of the currently male pets genderless, but all my intended males still outnumber the rest.
