I was hammering happily away with my smallest and all of a sudden they kept dying...only after having paid too much at the healer I checked, what tf was going on, rofl

Yeah, some of the weapons do scale for the Hydras, which I guess was the BAs’ way of making things easier on themselves when creating a multi-level opponent, LOL. I think the only thing I can really do for that is to put a note in the weapons spoilers that they will scale to the next Hydra’s difficulty after the first 10 wins. Anything else would get too cluttered.

Saw your post and want to ask you how to Defeat Dean, how did you do it?

I fought him with my Tier 12 pet Skitter. I’ve beat him a bunch in battle quests, so I just used my default set, which is as follows:

round 1: and round 2: and round 3: and round 4+: and

I also have a Phoenix Quill, but I didn’t use it. With healing from the volatile mecha and both my main weapons in rounds 4+, he never even got to damage me.

if you just scroll up a tad you will see that Jess has all these event challengers updated. Blaire is in that list. :)

~Tier 3. Most of you probably won't need advice for this one, but it's a tough little dragon for smaller pets. You'll absolutely want to block water. It also does some wind and physical. One of its weapons has a chance to freeze so don't forget to use your parched crystals. Other than that, I would avoid weapons that use fire as a majority of their attack icons because it will block them fairly often, dragging the battle out longer.

~Tier 9. Her main icon types are physical and earth, with a lesser amount of fire and water. She is a little tricky. She can be frozen until her blessing goes up, then it gives her a high chance of preventing freezing for the rest of the battle. She can freeze you and steal from you as well so be sure to mod your weapons with parched, blessing of natural armor, or rose crystals.
