# challenger Sorry, Survival has been very distracting!
The guides for Ujin and Amourrent are up.
Ujin does not follow the typical pattern for easy challengers and requires 200 wins to earn a tome. Thank you to for letting me know :)
[edit]# challenger The guides for Zuzu and Helionyu have been added!
[edit]# challenger Jackalope and Snow Goons have now been added as well :)
[edit] The guides for Mauve and Diavester are now up! The guides for the storm sylphs have also been updated.
The guides to the new paramnesia challengers are up :)
May the freezing odds be ever in your favor!
Thanks as always :)
Thank you
The guides to Elsie and Emevor are up!
Elsie: ~T8. Freezing and healing are disabled. She can also steal so remember to mod with Blessing of Natural Armor Tear Crystals. Primary icons are dark and earth.
Emevor: ~T3. Curses are disabled. It can freeze and steal so Blessing of Natural Armor Tear Crystals are needed once again. Primary icon type is earth.
I'm also working on battling permanent challengers with missing recommended tiers and will be filling those in this week. COMPLETE!
, some of the info for the hydras is incorrect.
My data on this aren't quite as clean as I would like, because I too didn't notice this at first, but I now feel pretty confident in saying that some of the hydras' weapons scale with opponent strength.
(Not wielder strength, because if you steal them they won't rescale. Not opponent ID, because racking up enough wins on a smaller hydra to give it stats matching a larger one will scale its weapons appropriately. Not opponent health or defense or speed, because the 5-headed hydra's scroll changes from the 7- to the 8-headed hydra's version after exactly 30 wins, not 90 or 28 or 40. There are a couple of other weaponsβoriginal tattered scroll combos, IIRCβthat work like this.)
It looks like someone checked the weapon icons after getting ten wins on all the hydras, but this gives the 5- and 7-headed hydras strength equal to the next larger ones', so their weapons are incorrectly listed with the scaled icon values. Specifically:
By hydra
By weapon
I suspect the blessing activation rate is also keyed to this scale, but don't have good data for it.
* Swift Stab
The damage rolls I observed were as follows:
| :dmgπ₯ | :dmg:physical: | |
| 6 | 98 | 73 |
| 7 | 73 | 98 |
If the value is truly "6-7 :dmgπ₯, 6-7 :dmg:physical:", we should expect a 1:1 ratio of outcomes; the probability of observing this large a disparity is 0.31%. If instead it is "6 or 6 or 6 or 7 or 7 :dmgπ₯, 6 or 6 or 7 or 7 or 7 :dmg:physical:" (3:2), the probability is 22.4%. If 4:3, near 100%. I'm not sure what value is actually most plausible given the psychology of the battle admins.
I collected data for all of the other scaled weapons' icon distributions, but this is the only one that looked weird when I eyeballed it.
Thanks for all your great work! Your new guide definitely deserves some links in the info sections, too.
That someone was me, way back in 2017 when I was a baby battler and still learning what I was doing π It looks like I never got around to double checking them and I'm grateful that you and took the time to do that. I think I've fixed all of the inaccuracies based on both of your info, but let me know if I missed anything.
For Swift Stab, I've just kept it at :dmg:physical:6-7 :dmgπ₯6-7. Based on the original weapon stats it seems most likely that is what it scales to, but only could say for certain. I'm not too worried about it because it still technically does 6 or 7 of each element :P
Thank you both <3
wow jess how did you get so cute
2025 Stalacbite, Focused (7)
The guides to Laure and Blerle are now complete!
Laure: ~T1. It's an easy challenger so nothing too special there. Remember to go to 200 wins to collect all of the booster loot.
Blerle: ~T7. Curses and stealing are disabled. It has a moderate chance to freeze so remember to use Parched Baguette or Blessing of Natural Armor Tear Crystals. Primary icon types are light and physical.
Thank you for this guide.
I just wanted to say how much I rely on this thread for loot harvesting. Now with the pending reset and no way to get all the grinding done in time, I appreciate it even more. Huge thank you!
I wanted to post and say a super big thank you for this wonderful guide. This helped me in so many ways with making progress on getting ready for the reset and after. I was able to find almost 10 opponents I didn't have (and IDK how, I've checked another guide 3 times before so IDK how I missed them) and make myself a massive spreadsheet so I know who to battle and how many times so I can try to get the most out of the current rounds before the changes happen.
TY TY TY.
The guides for TURNYEP, TURNOPE, and of course Jo and Rubovyne from the other day, are up!
TURNYEP: T1. It's an easy challenger so nothing special to mention there. Remember to go to 200 wins to collect all of the booster loot.
TURNOPE: ~T6. Bring in a fire, earth, or physical blocker. It can freeze so remember to use Parched Baguette or Blessing of Natural Armor Tear Crystals.
Jo: ~T4. Fire and physical blockers would probably be best. Can be frozen so not too difficult.
Rubovyne: ~T10. This one annoyed me π Main icon types are fire, physical, and to a lesser extent magma. It will freeze so remember to use Parched Baguette or Blessing of Natural Armor Tear Crystals.
Thank you for putting the loot drops for the turnips! I was debating about whether to keep fighting for a tome for TURNYEP............ hmmm I'll save it for another time lol
