Oh yes I'm also looking forward to all the battling of spoopy challengers! I love the Ghost theme we have for this month as well, so perfect! Can't wait to see our Friendly Thursday challenger too. :D October is best month!

I JUST changed into my Morostide costume

I'm gonna go as a Team Skull grunt this year (from Pokemon S/M/US/UM)

New to Subeta so this is my first Morostide. I am so ready for it! I love fall and halloween!

So. For a new person, tell me about Morostide. What happens!? Tell me about the spookyness!!!

There are lots of things!

You can visit the Zapper to choose to zap yourself instead of one of your pets to get different special skins that you can unlock in the wardrobe (similar to the zombie skins during Survival, if you were around for that).

You can collect pumpkins as floating items around the site that can be carved and added to your pumpkin collection. There are also achievements that have to do with the pumpkins, you can find in the Morostide section of the achievements page.

You can visit the Pumpkin Patch in Shadowglen every so often to get a prize from a pool of items including new items for this year and also previous years' items.

You can trick-or-treat by visiting users' profiles or by using the special links in the Morostide event forum (once it's open). You can get items similar to the Pumpkin Patch (except a different pool of items), or there's a chance you could be hexed which makes your HA turn into something weird temporarily.

You can wear the or somewhere in your outfit to reduce the chance of being hexed.

There are also certain battle challengers released during Morostide that range in difficulty, similar to other events.

And of course there's always the chance for other surprises that we don't know about yet! But these are the typical things that can be done pretty much every year.

Morostide is one of my favorite holidays because there's so much to do ~

(Ive been on Subeta for about 3 months now. ish. ) I had -thought- I had an old account, but was never able to locate it). So all of these holidays are pretty new to me. ^.^

Well, this time of year tends to be pretty busy anyway, since we have 3 holiday months back to back to back. Morostide this month, then Fireside in November, and Luminaire in December.

Then the spring is pretty busy too, after a bit of a break in January. It's mainly the summer months that can be quiet if nothing special is going on for the year. From about late May/June-ish to the middle of September, there aren't many scheduled events except for Alegarten/Neugarten.

So you chose a pretty good time to join or come back! There will be lots to do for a while. :)

I've missed Morostide the last... 2-3 years maybe? So I'm extra excited this year, and now that I've gotten into battling I can't wait to see what fun battle opponents there are! :D

in addition to a hypno-monocle, you might want to get ! you get a higher chance of finding one of jaxon's minions in the pumpkin patch when you're wearing it -- there's usually a new one released each year, and you can get an achievement for finding it :3 (last year's was , for example -- if you found one, you got the achievement "echo finder.")

I can't wait for Morostide! It's one of my favorite site events, next to Luminaire!

I love Morostide and am looking forward to it as always. Have a few new HAs created and a trying to resist wearing any of them now.

WOOT~! I am even more ready now! I looked over the holiday page, but didn't think about looking over the achievement area to see what else may happen during the time. (I had seen the pumpkin collection in the gaming area, the few I have, ive bought though because they were pretty low sP cost).

And Jensen! omg love the Avatar. I have the door background, but just never could think of a way to incorp it with anything. You found the perfect way. Love it! (EDIT - I made the door comment and then the page refreshed and it went away. :( It is cool looking though!)
