We did the Coors tour today. Hit two brews. Holidaily gluten free beer. Bottles and Barrels in Golden. Was a nice time. Now off to a brew place in Lafayette.

Now just have to win a game against Bautista.

I spent two summers in Colorado doing research. I have a bunch of friends out there so I try to go back whenever possible for work. Make sure you check out the 16th street mall when you're in Denver. There's also this really cool bar that has couches on the roof where you can just sit and talk and have drinks. I think Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park is there too.

I'm not sure about the challenger loot possibility, but I think it's one of the items you can get sometimes from doing Quentin's quests.

I hate this game, I just get confused. I know it's really easy for some people, but for me, it's not. He bet's that there's at least 2 4s (for example), I challenge him because I have 2 1s and 2 4s...but then I lose a die because me having 4 4s counts as having at least 2? head desk

not sure if this helps but one thing that confused me at first was that its the number of die total between the two of you, so if you have 4 4's, since 4 > 2, that counts as the total pool having at least 2 4's. As long as there are 2 or more 4's between the two of you, then there are at least 2 4's. does that clear things up?

Kinda...I really need a guide that as a game as an example. I started off really good...but then it just went downhill.

So instead of challenging him (because you had four 4s and thus there were at least two between you), I would up the bet to there being at least five 4s between you (because you know you have four so there may be a good chance he has a fifth one).

Then you would hope he challenges your bluff (because five 4s seems like a lot of 4s :P) and he loses the challenge.

You also have to keep in mind how many dice you both have as you get later into the game.

So for example, if he has 2 dice left and you have 4 dice, and he bets something crazy like at least 4 3s but you have 0 3s (or 1s) in your hand, then you know that bid is not possible so you should challenge. It can be easier to catch him that way.

EDIT: Okay...here is when I get confused and feel really stupid. This is from my current game, again...I was doing really well.

He has one...which was a 2

He bet at least one 2 between the two of us. I challenged because I have two ones...which would make there would be at least two 2s. He ended up having a 2, which made 3 twos...so how come I lost the challenge?

You lost because he bet that there was at least one 2. There were three (which is more than one) so he was correct.

If he had bet there were at least four twos and you challenged it, he would have lost the challenge because there were only three (the one he had and the two wild 1s you had).

I think my head is going to explode...lol

It's all good though, cause I ended up winning the game in the end...glad that's done
