Something to do with shaking ones confidence ... he's a charmer, a smooth talker, and a person who likes to cheat and more importantly cheat others out of their money. Hmm what could possibly ruffle his feathers....

Hmm I tried that and it didn't work. Not sure what the person did but they played the game and won and they got the challenger unlocked.
So got him by beating him while wearing a veil. Maybe that's it? Beat him while covering your face?

Yeah, I'm not finding it that difficult to win either, just pay attention to how many dice you both have and what numbers you have, it's usually easy to tell if he makes an impossible bid.

Yeah, I saw. I want to try with another item because I have a sort-of theory. If it works, I'll report back.
Someone else got it the same way as Jess did, so we know at least one thing that seems to be working, but I'm curious if there's a bit more to it.

I'm planning to test with an Unlucky Zooky Paw in my inventory. Because yeah, I'm not sure if it's just the cat or any sort of "unlucky" item (the cat has unlucky in its description).
I think it makes sense why he's this month's challenger now though even if he doesn't fit the theme, because of Friday the 13th and unlucky things. His fear will probably be related to superstition of some sort (maybe).
