30-44 + 15 from mods vs 34 + 20 from mods + heal with a combo legend.

People are pinging battle chat like its a battle essential, but its barely even good. And its icons are fractured over 5 icon types. I would argue this thing is a turd sandwich of a weapon. There are more of the Axe on the shop search than any of the other items in the release.

It just sold out, probably for the last time, but seriously unless it gets an upgrade, the thing is going to be junk.

They released so many that it's almost cheaper to buy in shops than with token. Kind of makes me wonder why such the high price if you're going to make it common?

I'm giving up on Mad Scientist for now. Looks like I'm saving for the syringe :P.

I apologize that the pings are annoying you. That was my fault, I figured since it was battle-related, anyone who may have wanted it for their armory or wardrobe even, that the group ping was alright. I couldn't assume that pinging the TS group would be appropriate.

It may be a crappy weapon in your view, and yes, it's no Amulet of Drakkonis or something that will serve a purpose for longevity. But for the awkward middling tier it serves, it's decent enough for that.

We will simply have to agree to disagree. Though, I will ask, how would you make it more appealing? Scaling stats, as per usual?

There could be future plans for it to do more. Only the BAs know.

It doesn't have to scale to be good. Scaling weapons are a relatively new idea that is tricky to excute as it forces people to create certain types of builds. All you need to do is have the icons spread across three major icons and give it 4- 5% heal.

The only scaling weapons I would like to see more of, if any at all, is intel.

To me 5000 Wiz tokens kinda says, "BUY THIS IT'S RARE AND WILL DO COOL STUFF!" but then enough were released that everyone has it then I'm left wondering what happened.

I'm not one of those who thinks there should be 3 and only 3. Too bad for everyone else, but it seems like they were released in excess.

I'm going to say there's going to be a Gelatin War and this weapon will be good against a new type of gelatin :P.

This just reminds me of the times they released aemis in the ts. It's a shit weapon that is really only useful to achievement collectors but it's still over 60mil after two re-releases to the TS There you have it I supppose.

New semi god scrolls or weapons would be nice

- Yeah I remember. Both times I got over excited (especially since Aemis was being advertised as 'legendary'). Oh well, I like the look of the axe either way and it may come in handy. 20 million isn't that big of a deal, and maybe one day it'll have a cool use!

All for more weapons and scrolls to be added. To be fair this axe is like the what... the 2nd or 3rd new weapon to be released in quite some time? Since like th Gelatin war? (When the new guy dropped a weapon and scroll.)

Although T7 does need a few better weapons and the 3 slots are a really good extra, do you feel the axe to be better than the a LOT cheaper Fruit Bone Dagger and Recovered Relic Hammer or the always available Refined Energized Arm Augments and Flintlock Sword?

Compared to those, no, of course not. Like everyone says, I understand why 3 dedicated icons would be better, and obviously a small heal would be better than anything else.

It's just...weird. It seems like there's more it could do, but it doesn't. The itemid has it listed being done in February, but only to be released now. Perhaps during weapon testing the BAs couldn't fully decide on what it should do.

I agree on more intel scalers though. Surprised they haven't lumped Intel in with the other 4 stats at this point.

We had those new MC weapons and the battle shop had a few new weapons thrown in, and one of the CSC opponents drops a T3 weapon (The Overcompensator) but yeah, otherwise, we haven't had much for new weapons. I think that's alright though. But I'm down for more scrolls.

I like that staff are taking the time to release more weapons and scrolls. I just want them to be useful. I dunno a lot of the new weapons that have come out feel very mediocre. Prodigy’s eyeball is the on exception that I like. It would be nice to have more weapons like that. I feel like there is very little in-between options that are worth buying - you could either buy this 1 mil cheap weapon or this 700 mil weapon. With the stats on the axe, it feels more like a novelty item or a pretty wearable.

Legendaries/ combo legendaries when they were first released were never really great compared to other weapons until the tier system was put in place. Now the combo legendaries are the hardest hitting T7 weapons but quickly lose their usefulness outside of T7. They would be worth the price tag if you could continue to use them throughout T8 and maybe even T9.

True, generally speaking, there's enough weapons as is, and though I doubt it would happen, I'd almost like to see Sandreaver or the two weapons needed to combine into somehow brought back into circulation. Cause there's no need to make any new godlies when they already exist. I've not played around with Prodigy's eyeball, but now I'm gonna check it out since you mentioned it.

T7 just feels like it's supposed to be that awkward stage for any battle pet. Not too shabby, but not nearly good enough. I wish I had a second trident, or that we could swap between the two in the armory without having to take it out and lose mod crystals. Otherwise I'd be throwing that onto my smaller guys.

T7 is an awkward stage but it doesn't have to be. If there were better options for the tier, it wouldn't have that "just hope to blow past it quick" feel to it.

does 30-35 fire damage, 5 light and 5 wind damage. It blocks 35 or 45 water and heals for 9%. T10, 3 mod slots.

By no means is it the best water blocker, but it is the best affordable option at T10 imo until you can win MW
