I have been playing around between freezing scrolls and all healing scrolls. So far the healing scrolls set has been working. For that I use TA, GotF (x3) and cobalt (x3). I'm switching it up a little again for win 4

Oh interesting! I might have to give swashbuckle a try over my Trident. Also a heading scroll set over my freezing (though freezing has been working pretty well for me thus far.)

Yeah I chose swash because it has more heal so that is helping me heal more per turn. Oranos doesn't have enough AP to chain freeze him so the healing scrolls and cobalts for extra defense have been helping me last longer

I'm not having too much trouble yet, but IDK if I'll make it to 10. We'll see ~

So I looked back at Verdugo’s record on Rouland before the reset. He managed 3 wins when he first turned T12. Oranos actually has similar strength and health. Verdugo had a little under 4,100 hp and almost 2,900 strength while oranos has 3900 hp and 2,800 strength. Knowing that, he probably won’t get to 4 wins before the end of morostide (especially with his much lower defense) but it’s good to see what kind of stats are actually needed to beat rouland with the right equipment.

I'm also calling it for the year at seven wins. Even with a perfect first turn I'm lucky to get him down to even 3/4 health before I run out of freezing.

Which means that next year there's no way I'm not getting the Manifesting Weapon. :)

(Though a gelatin war before then would help, Subeta! ME is soooo helpful (thank you, )!)

Edit: Just got Blood Bat in BQs. Normally now I just hit with one weapon, but today he got the full fury.

I used:

Trident (tier 8 one), Paintbrush Blades, Rainbow Vortex, Soma Tablets, Reviver of the Lion, Phoenix Quill, Mecha, and Energized Helm

And I switched between defense scrolls like Cobalts and Perilous Whirlpools and the like to a full on freezer scroll frilled set.

It's been hit and miss really.

and now that you mention it, i vaguely remember that. though, i still don't feel like i know his character outside of what's on his 'pedia page... i hope we get more friendly thursday challengers next year so we get more small npc spotlights :u
