Can anyone give me any advice on what weapons to use against Maliss Bopper?

I never knew that it did until you told me just now. :) I have one but am just using it as a wearable right now.

I used Natasha and Paint Brush Blades for my attackers, with Soma Tablets and Recycled Blaster to take care of a couple of the Bopper's weapons as well as Shinwas Temple Shard and Rainbow Vortex to help keep me alive. Your scrolls will also be very helpful - I have three Cobalt Eternals but almost bought one or two more. I also used an Aftershocks scroll.

That's all at T12 though. What tier is your battle pet?

I understand the pylonic limit (some are OP), but honestly I don't really understand the shard limit. Aren't they essentially the same as the potions? Just a defense version instead of offense. Even if I could equip a bunch at once but still be limited to OPB I'd be happy, but that's just cause I'm forgetful. ;(

How many potions? I normally have +/- 300 equipped and haven't had any lag.

Soooo, is Natasha / ME 100% necessary for beating Rouland? I was hoping to get a MW this year. But now I'm questioning if I'm not gonna be strong enough. Not sure how likely I am to afford Natasha in a month. (& I highly doubt there will be time for a jelly war between now and then). I'm 100 stats away from T12. Assuming I remember to do BQs everyday then I can get to +/- 12,600 core stats. I know I'm hurting in the world of dark blockers (PBB only), I do have USS for magma & Swash/Trident for wind. Gettin' lucky with Prodigy Staff did help with Flamagia. Anyways, in your opinion do you think I can overcome my lack of defensive weapons with more stats? Thank you :)

Yaay finally, always forget to do Item Hunt so that took forever.

They block a LOT of the icon they block and in some cases all, so if you could carry a dozen or so into a battle and use them all, I suspect it would be close to having a full blocker (Dark Shard blocks 50 icons of physical, Wind Shards block all wind). I can understand wanting to limit that to once per battle because having access to a third full blocker slot each attack could get ridiculous.

Color me stupid, I had it in my head that shards blocked 16 icons. Which is an extremely random number and I have no clue how I thought that. :D

So it took me a couple of years to get 10 wins on Rouland to get MW as my pet needed to have enough T12 stats to beat him 10 times.

The main icons he does is dark, fire, physical and wind. More of his weapons have dark and physical attached to him but I found he liked to favor the vengeful fury (does fire and dark) or Raspy shriek, which is all wind. All of his scrolls also do some fire damage. You definitely want to block dark, I needed to borrow ME for sure.

Depending on what you blast will dictate what you need to block. You can use swashbuckle for wind block. If you don’t have enough stats the 7% heal on trident won’t be enough. Scrolls are super useful for him because it all depends on what weapon he favors for the match and what you blast.

The best strategy is to chain freeze him with shriek scrolls. I don’t remember if he has a blessing to protect from freezing, I think he might. If you can’t chain freeze, fatal fire and typhoon of valor are super useful. Cobalt enteral is a good cheaper AP option but you will do less damage.

You will definitely want to use ME. Your second weapon depends on scrolls. Swashbuckle, Natasha, the ether are all good options. He was choosing the fire weapons more consistently when I fought him so I used Natasha (pbow didn’t have enough heal) and just took the hit if he happened to do wind. Second year he favored wind so I switched to swash some battles.

Congrats! I’ll take that dumb bunny over the mage any day :p I usually just generate steal fodder for him if I don’t crit hit him into oblivion. I tend to use the brute force method lol

So I should borrow or buy a Swashbuckle too...

I got lucky last year and got two Shriek of Despairs (my chain freezes usually go turn 1 Shriek, turn 2 Psycho Smasher and Soma Tablets, turn 3 Shriek, and if I need it on turn 4 I'll use my IEH), and I have two Fatal Fires as well thanks to the reset.

I'm looking forward to seeing what I'm able to do this year.

I vaguely remember him having a blessing that activated sometimes to prevent chain feeezing and that’s why he was so tough. You can’t go wrong with either physical, fire or wind as a second block. There just may be some battles where he chose to use the weapons you didn’t have the block for. I can check later tonight on where my stats might have been when I got the 10 wins. By mid T12 he’s definitely easier to tackle.

The lag is pretty bad right now, but hopefully it will get better as the site adjusts to more people being online.

The cubs have grown up so fast! Still got more growing to do I imagine. Whether we get to fight Brunhilde or not will be seen. Really cool art.
