So yeah, this new opponent isn't fun, a waste of time (pun intended), and I'm not going to bother with it as it is now.

Daaang! I wish I would have waited to unlock. I 100% don't mind buying opponents that I can't beat yet, but this sounds way worse. Poop, wish I would have thrown it in the wardrobe instead.

Haha although they could stop making rng based opponents and more strategy based opponents so that the solution isn’t always stat cap :x

Yeah, I agree. There wasn't a whole bunch of strategy other than brute force RNG. I did use the freezewand to try blasting through the stall, although it wasn't really great for other purposes since it doesn't block what the opponent's throwing, nor were they freezable beyond the first turn.

The challenger would probably be fine for Paramesia level, where it's kind of normal to go wild there.

They should do more challengers like baenwurath that have weapons that get progressively worse as the battle goes on or first stage and second stage weapons that change what you need to block. The could still do infinite use blockers but make it something more in a predictable pattern, like every 10 turns there is a chance they will use infinite block or only during phase 3

Maybe the solution is to have a pet with 20k in Strength lol. Should blow right through the healing BS.

I dunno what to say about that. It would be interesting for a challenger to transform between multiple modes (with something to indicate it) in a battle, with different weapon sets for each mode. That way, you can probably get a hint of what they will be dishing out, otherwise it's hard to keep track.

Thanks. I think it did for me too but I battle on my phone and don’t bother reading the battle conversation. But I glanced a few times when it healed itself. Damn. I’ll probably try for five. I hate RNG type battles.
