We've talked about this in the past, and we actually have an internal flag that we can apply to accounts so that they don't clear. You can make a ticket to have that applied to the account.
We are unlikely to use that to apply any kind of "this user has passed" message on the profile because honestly we can't be sure that is what they'd want.

read Keith's answer, we tried and thats all we could do. Marreshaann's acct has what Keith was talking about, marking user as deceased and acct wont be cleared. I was hoping to be able to have a memorial feature as an individual option on a user's profile. But I understand Keith's wanting to respect those that passes privacy.
