Fingers crossed! ^-^
We stayed home. Hubby is treating a parotitis since Thursday yet it wasn´t any better yesterday. He can´t open his mouth for eating and the cheek is swollen, you can palpate a big and hard lump. He is still sleeping now and I have to teach some hours first, we´ll see how he is afterwards. If he is any better, we plan an excursion today.

Oh no, that sounds really horrible. I hope he feels better soon!
Oh no, hopefully there will be good news on Friday. Oh that's gorgeous! What a lovely garden, it looks like those bushes would smell great.
I hope so, too!
The bushes are the entry to a golf course there. Rhododendron is a very loved greenery in Germany.
When the weather holds, we are going on a ship cruise tomorrow! I only have to work for school after 6 p.m. so we have all day for an excursion if hubby feels to it.

That ship cruise sounds like it will be relaxing fingers crossed the weather holds ;P
We go tomorrow on the cruise, weather is better then and hubby is better today, too. We decided to go for a forest stroll instead today. I´ll post pics this weekend.

How did the appointment go for your hubby? Hopefully good news. Did you get to take the cruise?
It lasted a lot longer than we thought and when he was back, we could only go for a stroll. We postponed the cruise for this week and hope to go on Thursday when the weather plays nicely. :-) Hubby is better yet not able to work all day so far so he has another free week. However, we visited a very picturesque little village at the lower Rhine yesterday and dined in a ranch house, I´ll post pics later!

I'm glad to hear your hubby is doing better :D Germany looks sooo lovely!
The country is. The city is .... like every big city elsewhere, LOL. Ruhr area here has cities which no exact border, one city flows into the next so we have 5 millions people leaving closely together in the metropole Ruhr.

Oh wow 5 mil people? I don't think I could handle that many people. The commute must be horrible, hopefully you have a great public transit system.
Depends, LOL. We have still many mining damages here in our area which was a big mining place once. So it happened for the second time that the train which offers my transport for the second half of my commute was canceled for 9 months each time because they found a not filled tunnel beneath. Normally, my commute to practice is 45 minutes and to naturopathic college 35 minutes. When driving from practice to school in the evenings it´s around 15 minutes only. So I am content, I like to read in the train. Hubby has to go 1 hour each way.

Oh man that must have been a real pain when they had to shut the train down, but definitely better safe than sorry on something like that.
Did you ever get to go on that cruise?
So far not, we wanted to take my mum, too, and then she got severe knee pains and she has to have surgery now, getting a new one. So we´re thinking about doing a cruise on our own now yet at the moment, it´s too hot for this and still stays the next week.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear about your Mom's knees. Knee pain sucks, hopefully the surgery will go well. My Dad's has had surgery on both of his knees and now they're a lot better.
I love your HA today :D
Thank you, love! She has her first anesthesia talk this week. She already has two new hips and a lot of titanium in her vertebrae. However, she is very tough. I am looking forward to take her to walks in some months.
However, we´ll naturally also continue our excursions without her and I´ll post new pics here soon! <3

Here are my little ones:
Pauline was my very first teddybear I ever made. She is named after my granny. Her dress is handmade, too.
She ist still pretty plain yet I love her dearly. It is not easy to create a nice face expression at first.
For working on, I created my ultimate Test-y Bear, LOL. Every new stitch and feature I learned, he had to went through....

This is Benito. I already learned how to do noses better then which are very hard to do nicely. He won an international prize (for beginners, naturally) together with a group of Benitos. I am very proud of him! :-) He was created after the pattern named Benito from Mrs. Gilles, a well known teddy creator in Europe.
When I had learned how to do paws better, with fingers, I made him a little sister, Benita:
Here she is with her friend Mozart:
I did many more bears yet most are with friends now. At the moment, I am working on a mini bear, only 5 inches high. It´ll be light blue.
After some time back then, I wanted to do another design and specialized in mouses, LOL
His name is Antonio and naturally, he has a little friend named Antonia. He is so cuddly, LOL. I always have to look that the cats don´t get him because of the looong tail which has pearls webbed in.

Oh my goodness, they are so cute! You're really talented, they look totally professional!
