Yes, you should play, it was really fun to go through the whole story. I recently finished the game and after it ended, I literally had to take a break before I did anything else because I was in utter shock. You definitely have some unique items in your pets treasure. I was going to fill my pet's treasure with a whole bunch of items like the ones you have, and basically a whole bunch of flowers and odd tea party items.
