Ahhh, I bet Trespasser was a rough ride, in that case. I'd finished with a female Lavellan too, but she's the one I made for the templar route + romancing Cullen. I knew I'd never do either of those things again, so I wasn't super invested? And I have my own personal issues with Cullen as a character overall (mostly stemming from DA2 and what I view as lazy writing in DAI) but even with that, I thought the romance was incredibly cute and sweet and I 100% recommend you do that and enjoy it c:

I was fully emotionally invested despite having minimal emotional connection to the character I was playing. They did a very good job with crafting something lovely and believable. Even if that's usually their M.O.

I'm so mad they decided not to release the dlc for the old gen consoles; like, it makes sense because of the reduced capabilities, but at the same time if you release the game on the console release the dlc, too.

I remade my first Inq (a human male warrior) when I got it on PC, because I knew I wasn't done with him but I was 200% done with the 360 version and the missing faces and weird glitches. So even though the save on PC doesn't have as many hours, it's currently just about where I'd left off progress-wise in the 360 version. The only thing stopping me from getting any further is that other things (and characters) keep distracting me....

I have a couple of Adaar, yeah! I got to the point where I'd basically memorized the beginning of the game lmao though part of the problem was the fact that I'd use the pretty graphics and the fact that it was, you know, in the world of Thedas? to make some of my OCs for fics that I'll never end up writing. Because I can't really draw, so at least I'd get a decent face reference, even if almost nobody had the right kind of hair. And I'd play through the prologue bit for screenshots.

So even though I've "only" got about 12 Inqs, I've been through the opening..... more than that. And only one of the Adaar I've made for that is one I'll actually end up playing like an Actual Inquisitor, because the others fit into someone else's story and playing them as Inq feels weird. But she's lovely! Iirc she's a mage and I had to make due with a hair option that.... barely...... fits what I was imagining. And isn't even the correct color, because it looked really weird. She's an artist and largely a pacifist, with a hybrid fighting style (body checks and blunt force mixed with magic), and huge crush on Iron Bull. She pretends to be a tough and hard Qunari and it sort of works on everybody but Varric because he's seen properly terrifying Qunari and she can't use her size and a fake hardened demeanor to intimidate him. After Iron Bull and the Chargers join, her deception sort of falls apart and she acts more like who she is as opposed to who others expect her to be. I love her and should get further............

I haven't played Tresspasser yet, but I've gotten some spoilers already. I've tried to avoid them, but sometimes things get through the cracks. 😱 I have so much of the game to get through...and I won't even be doing it with my Lavellan since she's on my 360...

I'd love to hear your issues with Cullen! I always saw all the hate on him, but never fully understood. Anytime I asked someone they just replied with toxic, defensive hate bs and not an actual discussion about his character. I actually really liked where he ended up in Inquisition compared to Origins and DA2, I felt like he grew in a positive way. But that's just my opinion, and don't let it stop you from telling me what you think~!

Yeah, same here. Like, yeah, the graphics blah blah, but it really felt like a push for more copies being sold. Which worked.

Ah cool! I did that too, I was planning a Dragon Age RPG campaign and made all the PCs for my players so they would have references. But the game ended up falling through, which was majorly disappointing with all the prep I had done.

I love it when people make OCs that arent Wardens/Hawkes/Inquisitors~! I've only made two, and I love them a bunch, but I just didn't flesh them out as much as I'd like to (I actually can't remember one of their names...). Both of them would fit really well into the next game if it's a Tevinter based revolution type thing like I think~

Aww she sounds so cute! I love her! Also I love the bit about Varric being unphased. And uhg omg the hair options...just....uhg.

Minah Lavellan is a mage who is just as innocent and kind as can be, and the only time she is confident and strong is when she's casting spells in a fight. She really looks up to Cassandra, who is the reason she chose to become a Knight-Enchanter. Since she was lost most of the time in what to do and didn't really get to learn much in her clan, she loved listening to Solas's stories and getting his guidance.

It's been a while since I've played her/thought about her character, but that's a bit~

Oh, and Minah never understood Sera and always wanted her to learn about what it means to be an elf. I would've gone a different route than that, but I'm really diappointed there were no options at all to actually understand Sera. Like at all. Ever. The choices in Inqusition were majorly railroaded...which majorly sucked.

I FINALLY FINISHED MY ZEVREN ROMANCE PLAYTHROUGH /cries it only took like...2 years and 3 restarts, ugh but it was so good and I love him so much, and after all these years I finally get to play the Origins DLC/Expansions

OMG YESSS~! After I romanced Zev for the first time I found it hard to romance anyone else on replays after. ;3;

And omg the dlc is GREAT. There is an achievement for defeating the Harvester (final boss for the Golemns of Amgarrak dlc) on nightmare mode and it took me weeks to figure out how to best rework my stats and party to kill him.

A general comment:

The actual gameplay of Origins is so fun. They made combat easier in DA2 and DA:I which was pretty disappointing to me. Sure, it looks cooler, but I loved having a bunch of intricate abilities that have different interworking effects and being able to assign party tactics.

I hate the combat mode in Origin. I die the whole time even on easy. :D I am always to lazy to pause or use the tactics. Although in my third playthrough it was much better. Yay. But maybe I have so much hate for the combat mode is because of the endless quests in Origin. Don't get me wrong I love Origin so much, but before every quest I think "oh not that again". THE FADE! AAAAH! I just want to have my romance scenes, haha.

In Inquisition I actually enjoy playing on nightmare and dieing because of some Despair bitch is kind of fun. Also I nearly cried of joy after killing my first dragon.
