Thank you~! They are my sweet children. <3
FUN FACT Christina and Aleine were the second playthrough characters, while Rika is my one and only Hawke. She was perfect from the beginning! :P

Btw if anyone's curious, David Gaider wrote a short (unofficial since he doesn't work there anymore) drabble about Dorian. You can read it /the-final-conversation-d6258fa6cbdb">here! He's also written a couple of others, there was at least a Fenris one 8D
I actually still haven't played Tresspasser, because when the game was released, I only had ps3 and waited in the midnight queue to get the game for... that.... platform. Big mistake tbh, since the graphics are so much worse than for PC and newer gens, and they didn't even release any DLCs or patches for it after a while, and after I got PS4, I had to repurchase the entire game. I could run it now on my new PC too since it has to run heavy 3D programs, but buying the game for a third time feels... excessive.
fdkjgh omg thank you for all the good vibes ;o; Your HA is gorgeous as well!!
how do I not remember these Dalish sibs hanging out in your head??
I have 8D We were laughing with my ex-gf about how our apartment was full of Dragon Age books since we both own them all and then some. I loved Cole and Wynne in Asunder, but I think my faves have to be the first books with all that Maric/Loghain interaction. I've been meaning to buy the new comics with Sachin Teng's covers, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Are they good?
I've read all of the comics! Those Who Speak was my favorite, mostly because of Maevaris! I hope Bioware puts her in DA4.

My apparently very secret Dalish sibs you have no recollection of consist of a rather withdrawn, scaredycat hunter by the name of Ilys (warden) who tends to think just about anything sounds like a bad idea and his sister Kanna (not warden) who is a petite, doll-like thing who constantly gets away with saying... very insolent things in a guileless tone of voice. Also utterly ruthless where her only family is concerned.
Ilys is technically the older sibling, nevermind over a head taller, but everyone just kind of forgets that bit.
I got the hardback of High in Hardtown. :D It is amazing, not gonna lie. Even with all the lore they have released so far, I still don't know all there is about Andraste. She is an enigma, but I think that is on purpose. I'm hoping they eventually there may be a "prequel" type game that we can play as her. Even if it is just a DLC for the next one (which has a tentative release date of Dec. 2019/Feb. 2020 from Gamestop! My friend checked their system for me cuz they find out first.) I'd be perfectly happy. I just wanna know what REALLY went down, ya know? They keep saying how so much of her story is lost, I want it to be revealed. She is my 2nd favorite character from the entire series.

Ahh! Thanks for the link! I had read the Fenris story and I saw him talking about writing a Dorian piece on twitter, but last I read he wasn't sure if he wanted to post it.
Uhg the console woes... I had a 360 when the game came out and of course I bought the game... and then bought everything on pc when I couldn't stand not having played the dlc. BUUUT my pc can't run it and only my mom's can... Now I'm planning on upgrading to a ps4, and I really don't want to buy the game for a third time ...but I might. I still haven't played the dlc since I can only use my mom's setup occasionally plus the game is so long.
The new comics are gorgeous, focus on new characters (who I predict will be companions in DA4), and add to the world. I'm not sure if there as well written as the first set of comics, but I may be biased, or it may be because of the new characters I'm unfamiliar with. BUT if you love DA and own all the books/read all the lore, then they're a must read~! Plus there's cameos in them: Dorian, Varric, Sebastian, Alistair, and Leliana. (Can't remember 100% if Alistair and Leliana show up or if they're just talked about, but I'm pretty sure they're in there.)
I really think she will~! I haven't played Tresspasser yet, but there is no way we aren't going to Tevinter in DA4. And I'm pretty sure the MC is going to be a part of some Tevinter revolution which Mae will 100% be on board for.
Kanna, you say?
I can't wait to read it!! 😭
I definitely think they'll tell us what the true story of Andraste is, but I kinda hope it's just for us and not a canon revelation. I really like the mystery in the world, but I feel like that might be part of the plot for DA4. While playing DA:I I honestly thought they were going to reveal it then. I like the idea of a prequel game, but I'm really hoping for a novel~! I thought a prequel game where you play as Garahel during the Third Blight might be fun~
I lost track of how many playthroughs I have done of Origins.
I can't believe the summer(read, my free time) is almost over and I haven't taken the opportunity to play with my fantasy brats Dx
hello! and hello to everyone else here, as well! How is everyone? I haven't played any DA in quite a while because life got really, really hectic, but I've been tempted to get back to it lately.
I'm slightly upset with myself because I've finished the game several times, but not with my first and longest playthrough. Somehow.
i have only played dragon age 2 and inquisition.I love Fenris.
Hi~! I am well, thank you, and I hope you are as well. :) I haven't played as much as I'd like to either. I want to replay Inquisition to get to the dlc I haven't had the chance to enjoy, but access to that is limited since I have to use my mom's computer. Plus I've wanted to replay origins, but I've been using my gaming time for Pillars of Eternity (or Subeta...or D&D).
Oh that's super interesting! What made you want to start over before finishing?
You absolutely have to play Origins and Awakening if you enjoyed DA2 and DA:I~! It's on sale fairly often (usually the whole bundle for under ten bucks usd) and I think they've even made it free a couple times!
I also love Fenris~ Everytime I play DA2 and want to follow a new romance path he's there...tempting me with his brooding elfy nature. 😆
I'm alright c: it's been unacceptably hot lately and I'm incredibly worn out because of it, but things are good.
I'm sorry you're limited in your ability to play it, but that's awesome that your mom lets you use her computer for it at least some of the time. What kind of Inq did you beat the game with, before?
Ooooh, I know that feel. Last year I'd thought "I should go back and play more DAI or replay 2 because it's been a while", but then I went and logged 40+ hours in Witcher 3 instead XD
Ehehehe uh. I'm sorry because this is a slightly long story...
I have this HUGE problem where I make approximately 303462723058 characters in my head because I can't stop being an overexcited mess, and Inquisition was no different. I mean, I first got it on 360 because I was impatient and weak and willing to put up with glitches and missing textures, and I played as my first Inquisitor for almost 100 hours! But I didn't even get past Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts somehow??? I think I wandered the Hinterlands way, way more than I should have. And I was also a whole lot worse at video games then than I am now.... but anyways! It was just him, so no big deal, right?
Then I got a gaming computer, and shiny-fancy-PC-DAI. I remade my first Inq and got to about the same point I'd been at in the console version, minus the exorbitant play time. But the pretty graphics and desire to also explore other characters meant I made at least 10 other varying Inqs and started playing them instead. And I got way further as a random character I'd made SOLELY to explore the Templar route (because I wanted to meet Cole that way so badly). And I was playing her when Trespasser dropped and I was terrified of spoilers so I rushed through the game with her so I didn't have to wait for the DLC. And then I finished it with another random one-off I'd made because I'm dumb and her file was the next furthest...
And then again..... with the canonical younger sister of my first Inq. Like. I beat the game as his little sister, but not him. So my first and favorite idiot still..... isn't any further...... even though he's probably my most fleshed out anything from any DA game. I am.... ashamed lmao
Yeah...really I can't play because she is playing Fallout (or Skyrim). Her computer = her video game time is priority. 😆 I use her old gaming laptop, which just can't run Inquistion even though it tried...once.
Oh... I played a female Lavellan...do I need to say more than that? 😔
I got it first on 360 too! Hence the having to replay it on pc for the dlc. I feel you on the making way too many characters, but usually it ends up as me spending way too long in character creation and then not wanting to trudge through the beginning of the game. 😩
That totally makes sense though. You'd have to play on the 360 to finish him right? There's no way to import your save to pc? If so that sucks...
But yay for having fun with a bunch of characters and storylines! I assume one of those was an Adaar? You definitely have to tell me about them!
I really want to finish a playthrough with a templar-sided character and romance Cullen, I started one forever ago on the 360, but she is abandoned now...rip. My priority is finishing the game with what I want to be my canon so I have it for when DA4 comes out. Even though...I'm not doing that...I should really start over so I can get that done instead.
I adore the series, even though it def has its issues. The only prob with going back to origins is thst its just so, so brown. But they're my faves.
Hahaha yeah, Origins is definitely a sepia-tinted world, but the Blight will do that to a land, right? 😆
Joking aside, it is pretty bland color pallate wise isn't it? I suppose mods could help, but I haven't played on pc so I don't know the scope of what's available to make the game more visually appealing.
Origins is definitely my favorite of the series too. I really wish they'd go back to their roots and stop trying to make it more of a "mainstream" game.
Cool I will check out those other games.,Also nice meeting you.I have played alot of Skyrim besides the 2 D.A games.
Awakening is like a long dlc for Origins that takes place after. It's practically a whole game, but they're usually bundled together. I started Skyrim, but I haven't played much of it. And it is nice meeting you as well~! I can always use more DA friends~ :)
